Hi folks, you may think you've seen this already, and it's because you have! My inimitable and amazing collaboration partner u/Lurkydip posted this fill several days ago on r/GWNarrative here, but we figured the DSP crowd might like it as well. There are also a couple of other very impressive fills out there, so take a look around if you like it. The story shares an interaction between two speakers that you, the listener, observe without us noticing.

The script from u/daliafolia and u/InkOfFilth is twisted and shows what can happen with someone gets power they shouldn't have. Or rather, takes power they shouldn't... You'll see! It's really impressive what two creative writers can come up with...

[F] Hi there, I dropped off a laptop for repair on Tuesday.

[M] Oh hey, it’s you![F] Oh, you remember me?

[F] Do you need the receipt?

[M] Yeah, of course I remember you. No need… In fact, I have your laptop right here.

[F] Perfect… So you found the issue? Is it ok now?

[M] Mmm, yeah, I managed to fix it.

[F] Oh great, I’m so glad to hear. Not sure what happened, but it was really being a pain the ass.

[M] I’m a smart guy, I can fix most things. It’s all running at full speed now. No more crashing.

[F] Ah… you’ve saved my life…

[M] Oh yeah, I bet it was pretty difficult to be without it.

[F] Yeah, well it’s my work computer too. Only so much you can do from a phone…

[M] I see it gets well used.

[F] ... What do you mean?

[M] Well, usually people wipe the hard drive before they bring their laptop in.
