Obviously some decisions by the APL have been shit, but at the same time we don't think about how well they did during covid to get us through it. Or how well the APL and certain members are doing propping up the Newcastle jets so they can have a team.

Well no, the reason we are stuck with the sydney gf is because the paramount deal had clauses in it which the league has not met (additional subscribers after year 1). And its debatable whos fault that is, APL overpromising or Paramount+ not delivering a good product.

The only people that the APL feel the need to please is the APL. This is exactly what Frank Lowy meant when he said be careful what you wish for when everyone wanted the FFA out.
Shows us just what type of shit show the APL are running when half the CEO's ran and hid when Townsend announced the GF decision and the others came out and said they had no idea about the decision being made then talk of clubs being black mailed into voting yes or losing funding, what absolute fucking shit show the APL is.
Think you mean Steven Lowy, who was actually useless, nepotistic and at the mercy of the state federations. Having the state feds running the A-League was completely stupid and needed to change. Our real problem is that none of the clubs are member owned so the APL answer only to themselves.
