How to improve in RBG as rogue

Been trying to get into the rbg game as rogue and learning what 'go do rogue stuff" entails is kinda hard. On territories maps I get how to ninja bases for the most part, but outside that I'm lost. Joined a yolo discord rbg group today and after winning 2, the 3rd one I was getting berated for not doing what I was supposed to on EotS. Any videos for the overall meta strategy for rbgs as a whole and rogues on rbgs.
