I have a 2012 Hyundai veloster that was having issues, I spent 1800 at a mechanic but the issue persisted and after more tests with my mechanic and dealer turns out it's the transmission which will be around 5k to fix with labor. I'm leaving for the airforce in a month or 2 so my question is should I bite the bullet and get it fixed, since I'll be saving money in the airforce, or just get rid of it and cut my losses? It's annoying since I just put 1800 into it and I dont believe the resale value is high on this car... thanks! Also yes its paid off.
