Signed up for and was planning to fly to Jones 70.3 this weekend and with the storm coming I’ll probably drop out. Assuming a lot of others will too as it’s right along the water.

Is there really no deferral or discount for another race if you drop out due to weather?

Kind of shitty as it encourages people to participate in legit storms.

Understand they can’t fully comp because of weather but even a discount to a future race?

Maybe I’m crazy

I currently wildly overpay for WiFi with spectrum (120 a month) and saw an ad for >!honest!< WiFi in the neighborhood. 35 or 50 a month for 980 mbps.

Anyone use them or have thoughts?

Though I’ve never been part of one (because I’d rather exercise alone unless it’s with 1-2 of my good friends), I can see the appeal to run clubs. And I honestly think people getting together to focus on their health makes society a net better place.

That being said, I can’t fucking stand these people anymore. Battalions of 20-40 runners at once taking up the entire sidewalk / bridge / etc. with no basic running curtesy. Shits insane. I bodied some girl on the bridge today (by accident) as she was lined up in a row with 4 ppl taking up the entire path. Idiots running the wrong way in Central Park, etc.

I don’t even care that these people are going 10 min mile paces in full Bandit running g

I’m sure everyone is asking but with 1H26 coming up; if I want to use my stubhub credit, do I need to make the purchase before June month end or does the credit apply when it’s posted ?

I.e. am I good for a first half of 2026 credit for stubhub if I purchase on Tuesday 6/30 even if it posts the next day in July?

I’m not even going to say whether I’m native to NYC or someone who moved here (i.e., a “transplant”), because that defeats the purpose of my point.

I don’t give a fuck if you’ve lived here your entire life or moved here yesterday; if you’re a law-abiding, socially courteous, considerate person, then I’m happy you’re here.

If you’re socially inconsiderate, break the law, etc., then I dislike you and wish you lived elsewhere.

This arrogant pride some native New Yorkers have toward “transplants”, even when those transplants objectively make the city a better place, is so contradictory and pathetic.

If you just moved here and treat the city and the people here like shit, then I dislike you.

I live in a high floor on center blvd and can hear loud shitty music playing clear as day. Unsure what douchebags are responsible but insane that this neighborhood comes to this

Hi- I got this as one of the rewards for hitting 75k on my CSR (lol). As much as I’d rather fly on something else, it’s a decent amount of money to use. My problem is they have almost no nonstop flights out of nyc.

Does anyone have ideas on how I can get some credit or cash for this? I’d offer to buy someone’s flight at a discount but don’t even think that’s possible.
