I’m thinking I will be a butcher. I will focus on human meat(long pork), with an emphasis on jerky making for portability and longevity. I have found it requires 3-4 lbs of human meat per lb of dried jerky. This yields nearly 20g of protein per dried oz. I have extensive practice already using venison and an entire elk.

Putting it out there now; I will barter my jerky for drugs once pharmacy supply chains collapse. If someone has a poppy field... let’s talk.

Any other people have ideas about their profession post collapse? Would love to hear some ideas.

The job market will change, but staying employed and busy is vital for mental health and fulfillment in life.

Had surgery 10 weeks back. Looks like I have a bad infection. Have been icing and taking it easy to no avail. Within two hours I’ll be on the table having open hip surgery. Hopefully they save it!

Male/30/relatively healthy except orthopedic issues and opioid addiction now

Edit: things went well. Debridement was minimal. Lots of fluid . They took 260 ml out a few days ago and I took out 150 a week before that.

Also removed some more bone from the femur neck I believe. So hopefully mobility is better.

If I can touch my knee to my nose it’s a decent indicator of mobility, right can do it Easy.

Edit: Here’s an old pic of x ray: (Below)

Something like GTA but more sophisticated.

Drugs, working out, fighting, bribing guards, even prison rape to exert dominance.

Sounds like the fledgling idea of a great mind...
