So I'm looking to finally replace my trusty old Cannondale Caffeine 1fg. It's been a great bike, but I've had it for 12 years and I'd like more than 80mm of travel. Preferably something in the 120-130mm range.

I'm interested in getting a frame and buying parts over the next several months.

I ride primarily singletrack. I live and ride in Central Arkansas if any of you are familiar with the riding in the state. About 6ft1in, 245lbs.

Happy to answer any other questions needed.

Thanks in advance.

I have a 2004 lexus ls430 and yesterday it wouldn't start when I tried to leave for work. I got a jump, and made it to work. At the end of the day I needed a jump again. Took it to advance auto, they checked the battery/alternator in the parking lot and said both were ok. Something is definitely not ok because it needed a jump again this morning.

It drives fine once it's started.

Going to take it to a mechanic buddy's place with a tools and a lift and he's going to help me check things out Sunday, but was wondering if anybody had any ideas here.

I have an aftermarket Bluetooth module to stream music and otherwise no mods or additions to the car.

Thank you for reading.

Hello all,

I've been a fan of the LS cars for a few years and a dealer near me has an 2004 ls430 custom luxury for sale. It's got 121,000 miles, mercury metallic paint, black semi-aniline leather, smartaccess, laser cruise, and in general looks to have been well taken care of. If it's still around this weekend I'm planning to go check it out in person. I'd include a link, but it looks sub rules don't allow it.

My questions are the following:

  1. They're asking $9300. Does this seem reasonable considering age and mileage? And if not, what sounds reasonable?

  2. I know timing belt/water pump service at 90k is something that needs to have been done, or to plan on doing soon. Are there any
