For the first time in forever, SCHS did something right. The new laundry machines in ponderosa and MD are great. U get to see busy times and the time remaining on ur machine through the app. U pay through the app too. No more stupid card.

Finally some positivity from SCHS’s bs

Looks like the RLM just sent out an email for all Marine Drive studios that our shitty small fridges with no freezer space WILL BE REPLACED with a new full-sized fridge

Anyone else refusing it tho? Our studios are small already, I refused it cuz I cant fit it.

I also got my old fridge replaceed with a new mini one that has its own freezer section. Still small but I can have ice cubes and ice cream now!! Before I could only fit maybe two bags of stuff.

They're all so kind, and it's probably because the job demands it, but every interaction with delivery drivers (except, shoutout to Manveer from Domino's) have been kinda bland and dry. The Save-On Foods delivery driver helped me bring my shit up today. It was so kind. Idk, it's just that extra mile I wanna see. or maybe my sleep deprivation.

but shoutout to the saveon foods delivery drivers.

So fucking excited. Renting an Evo to drive 3 hours up North to this lakeside lookout, yall should get to less light polluted areas. IT is gonna be fucking amazing. I think lmao, idk shit about Auroras, i just looked at the forecast website

EDit: Whoops looks like someone posted about it already, ANYWAYS, does anybody know if the highways in squamish are snowed in or not? Evo's literally have zero fucking grip, it slides in the rain. Thinking about heading up that way to watch the lights

Hey all,

I made a post last year about this but everything given was all super far away and I got no car. Does anybody know any spot that has no streetlights or cars? Currently my fav spot is the lookout point on Marine. But cars always drive by and make my eyes reset.

Any recommendations would be appreciated

Does anyone know how to get those windows to open more? Mine open only 4 inches at most. But whilst on the ground, I saw someone with a window completely wide open. Thinking about buying a window AC.

I need to rant somewhere. Woke up just now at 2:00am from front desk banging on my door. My toilet pipe burst and began leaking. My whole studio is covered in half an inch of water. Maintenance is on the way and supposedly I might have to move out for a little bit cuz the carpet is completely fucked (why do places still have carpet, literally the worst thing ever). I am literally stressed the fuck out y’all.

My car was turned off with emergency lights on for 5 minutes outside a residence while I helped a friend move in. Come back to a ticket from a UBC officer.

Should I try to dispute this ticket or pay the $30 fine or just ignore it

Edit: forgot to mention it was an Evo

I do not know why the prof didnt come to understand or realize that 1000+ people clicking on the same link on UBC's already shitty software wouldnt turn bad. The exam was supposed to start at 3:30. The exam crashed and no one can get in.

Why cant prof justt waive the exam, we have a class average of 89%
