I'm looking to learn what kind of games I enjoy, and what is a good entry to each kind of mechanic a game can have.

For example, I didn't enjoy Clue as a kid, it seemed easy and boring. But I bought The Search For Planet X and I'm obsessed with it. That made me think, I need to try games that are great showcases for specific game mechanics and find what game styles I enjoy and don't.

I have heard the term "engine building" and understand its concept and would love to try a game that does it well without being too simple or difficult. But not just engine building, I want to try them all and learn my interests.

So please tell me a game to try and what mechanics it uses and excels at! Thank

I have replaced the wire harness, drain pump (not related to this issue but needed replaced due to seizing up lately), and I replaced the clutch slider. The control board looks great, reseated every cable I could find and made sure was in the correct spot, and triple checked my work on the clutch slider. Only thing else I can think of is just replacing the control board and/or the shift actuator itself.

When I put it in maintenance mode and activate each component, everything works. Lid, both water lines, agitator, spin cycle etc. Because they can all work I'm assuming the shift actuator is working, am I wrong in that? Or is it a communication i

My first deck I made that spurred my love for budget decks. Just discovered this sub and would love feedback! I was keeping it under $1 a card which led me to a sub $30 deck. I've been considering breaking that rule a little so I can add a few things that would boost this up even more. Stuff like Sol Ring and Academy Manufacturer.

This deck ramps and stacks +1/+1 counters. [[Baylen, the haymaker]], [[Feasting Hobbit]], [[Herd Baloth]], and [[Honored Dreyleader]] are good win cons. All feedback welcome and appreciated.

If I swing with Rok and the opponent has spectral shields up, do the spectral shields still get destroyed but don't do any damage prevention, or do the spectral shields stay in play since they are unable to prevent Rok's damage?

I recently got Doom and I haven't had so much genuine, mindless fun with a game in a long time. I usually go for very technical and challenging games, stuff that makes me maximize efficiency and strategy. But just throwing Doom on the easiest difficulty and plowing through some demons, not worrying about techniques or the dread of dying and starting over again, it was the most joyous experience. What games along the same vein do you enjoy and recommend?

My brother-in-law and I were reminiscing over how much fun we had playing the survival maps on Warcraft 3 way back when. The ones where you play as a hero against waves of enemies, sometimes solo, sometimes in a group. Mini bosses in between with a big one at the end, getting use of their respected special drops. I also loved the dungeon crawling maps. I don't know, maybe this is a long shot. I haven't seen any games like it since and they were endless fun. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
