Don't know where else to post this, but I really want to see this happen. So if anyone knows anyone who wants to make this happen let them know. I don't want money, recognition or even credit. I just want this to get made.

Was thinking about how to reboot Max Hedroom for the modern era, since a lot of the anti-establishment, anti-corporate, things would actually be pretty spot on, and we could use a good sci-fi show.

The basic premise would remain the same, but working with the people making the AI that powers Max are trying to recreate our humanity. They take a deep learning program and upload it information to try and recreate a passable human personality. The originally were trying

Just posted about the Escape room over there when I saw sub's announcement thread. I'm betting it'll hit the same people, but honestly I'd love to see this sub take off. Duluth has a great gaming community, and would love to do anything I can to help us be more cohesive.

Anyway, link to the facebook page for the escape room: https://www.facebook.com/SolveEnt

Just got to do this a few days ago, and thought I should mention it here since I only heard about it from a friend of a friend. Me and my team had a blast, and I keep seeing people ask what they can do in Duluth for fun... this is one of those things. Their facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/SolveEnt

So... yeah... Worth checking out.

The main character of the movies is not Rey, but Kylo Ren, and it's his story arc. More importantly it will be Luke's story in reverse in every way:

Young boy hidden from the force and his heritage

Leaves to save his father

Helps the rebels in hiding

Continues the fight and heads to degobah to continue his training

Sees the temptation of the darkside, and how easily he could be like vader.

Leaves his training early to save his friends.

Saves some, but others remain captured.

Goes into hiding alone and completes his training

Rescues his last friend

Returns to see his instructor die

Leaves to save his father from the dark side

risks his life and sacrifices all to save him.

Just wondering.... No reason. But wouldn't mind you guys stopping by for a visit. The place has a decidedly troll smell lately.

I'm looking to add a text box that scrolls similarly to what you see in old Ultima games, or more recently Wasteland 2. But I'm just not finding any tutorials on how to do this, and apparently can't even get the right words to know what to ask Google to find the right help.

My money is on a scroll rect and some text boxes, but I'd need it to grow dynamically, and honestly, I'm just running into walls with the scroll rect where it's never quite working.

Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

Looking to work on exactly what I'm asking for in the title, with a screen similar to this: http://www.kehlet.cx/images/2004/06/full/Picture%205.jpg for gameplay.

I'm having trouble visualizing the best way to lay out the tiles as the player moves around the world, since in this case they'll always stay center screen and the tiles will move under them.

I want to keep the chessboard feel of the old games, and not turn it into a Zelda clone as well.

Any suggestions? Should I make a mesh and try to plaint it with the tiles? Or make an array of tile objects and drop them down?

Any suggestions would be helpful, I haven't really seen any tutorials on how to do this. (used this as a search:
