Thanks for reading, good people of Bosnia. In about 3 months I will be racing my bicycle through Bosnia (and 15 other countries) and I want to have a SIM in my pocket when I cross the border, which will occur at a unknown time of day, possibly in the middle of the night. The race is non-stop, so I won't really be able to spend time looking for one.

I searched the net, and this one looks good enough for my needs: http://mtel.me/oec/internet-prepaid-tarifni-profil/129 but I can't find any way of buying one from my current location.

Can some kind soul pick one up and post it to me? (I can pay by PayPal)

I'm open to other suggestions also.

Thanks!

Hi all. I want to watch video in a window 600px wide, on one side of a monitor while I do other stuff on the other side. But at this width, youtube decides to give me 25% margins and a stupidly small video player. All I want is the video to be the full 600px width, i.e. remove all margins/padding. The rest of the layout is actually pretty good, e.g. no side-bars. I've tried tinkering with youtube's css (via Stylish/Safari) but it's way too complicated for my limited skills. It's using media queries, var(), calc(), etc. at multiple levels, and I'm totally lost. Thanks.

Greetings Colorado Bikers, I just bought a ticket to Denver, arriving in 7 days, staying four weeks. I'm coming to train (road bike) in the mountains, ride hard, lots of elevation, ~400k (250 miles) a week. I have done no planning yet. All I know is Denver is high, and the mountains are higher. Where's a good place to base myself? I'm thinking of an AirBnb somewhere for a few weeks (I'm also considering a week bike-packing trip). Cheap is good, but it doesn't have to be super-cheap (Aspen would probably blow my budget though). I don't mind training on my own, but would love to ride with some locals as well. I guess what I'm after is: quiet mountain roads, big climbs, quality roads, with mini

Hey Nexus 5ers. So I've had a N5 since day one. Love it. Always thought the battery life was very reasonable. Then recently I went to China for 2 weeks, and my battery life was complete shit. Returned home, and battery life was great again. My theory is that in China I had an LTE connection, while at home, I only ever have HSPA.

So here's my questions. Is it possible that LTE consumes so much more battery than HSPA? And if so, why does anybody care about LTE? In my opinion, HSPA is plenty fast enough for 99% of mobile uses. I mean, it's up there in the multi-megabit range. Assuming it's possible to turn off LTE (which I think it is right?) why does anybody leave it on?

Cheers.

tldr: Would it be possible to iterate through non-allocated clusters of FAT16, so I can parse them myself and look for my missing data?

Hey, so I've just lost a single important file from a Garmin device. I hypothesize the culprit was my Android phone (I tried to OTG my Garmin to my Nexus 5). My Nexus showed me the file, and let me copy it, but the copy was 0 bytes on my phone. When I mounted the Garmin on my Mac, it showed as 0 bytes on the Garmin as well. But I'm 99% sure it was >200k before I plugged it in to my Nexus. So, looking at the Nexus logs, I see this:

02-21 13:36:34.768 148 166 V vold : /system/bin/sgdisk
02-21 13:36:34.768 148 166 V vold : --andro

Hi all. I'm about to upgrade from 10 to 11 speed and have a question. I want to use an 11-32 Ultegra 6800 cassette which officially requires the long cage Di2 RD.

But I've read that Shimano builds in a margin of error to RD specifications, and that depending on your bike's dropout geometry, the short cage works fine with the 11-32.

I've also read that a short cage RD gives faster and smoother changes and better chain tension than a long cage RD, which obviously would be good to have.

Is it worth trying to get the short cage to work on my bike, or should I just follow the specs and get the long cage? Does anyone have specific experience regarding this setup? Thanks.

edit: I have a 2013 Gi

If I share an album to, say, Hangouts (thus producing a url like goo.gl/photos/1234) then click the link, my phone opens it in the web browser, without prompting me to open it in Google Photos. I therefore can't find any way to open shared links in the app itself. This is a bug right? (I have tried clearing "defaults" but that didn't work). Does this work for anyone?

Some addresses (bbc.co.uk, abc.com.au) are suddenly redirecting me to unblock-us.com. It happens in FF, Safari, and wget. I'm on a WiFi captive portal. It doesn't happen if I VPN out to the US. It doesn't happen over 3G on my phone. How do I find out who is doing this?

I've just recently noticed FF reloading pages on back button a lot more than I remember. It does this in reddit for example, which causes the list of links I was just looking at to change. I'm positive this didn't used to happen. Could this have anything to do with the new http cache implementation? How do I revert to the old behaviour?

r/Strava•

I've seen a Strava Android developer or two on here before so...

  • why doesn't clearing a notification on the web interface clear the notification on Android (and vice-versa)?
  • why doesn't the "New Comment" Android notification include the actual comment so I don't have to launch the app and wait for it to sync just to read a one-line comment?
  • why do the new comment notifications keep saying e.g. "4 New Comments" when I've already read the previous three, so there is actually only one new comment? (I think the same happens for Kudos notifications)
  • why are Android Strava notifications silent? Why can't I configure tones like most other Android apps? It really detracts from an online com

I just had my first flat tire on my new Giant road bike and fixed it on the road with a patch and CO2 cartridge no problems. Then I had a second flat and this time had my mini pump and fixed it with that. Soon after I got back on the back I noticed there was a "bump" on every rotation. I checked the wheel and noticed that the bead was unevenly seated around the wheel, making the tire not round. Try as I might, with my pump, and with my hands, I couldn't resolve the issue. Eventually I put another CO2 cartridge on the valve, and the tire popped out like normal, problem solved.

So basically, my little pump isn't good enough to change a tire/tube. I'm guessing it's because it simply doesn't gi

I've been using m.reddit.com on my G1 Android for years now and it has been great. It's super light weight, which is about all my phone can handle anyway. In the last few weeks, the site design has changed, and now the comments are often un-readable (see screenshot http://i.imgur.com/inwyo.png). Who do I have to see around here to get this fixed? thanks.
