Hi reddit,

This questions been on my mind for a long time. I'm not married or even planning on getting married anytime soon but I was wondering what this community thinks about the idea of having paternity tests as a pre marriage talk. I've seen a lot of horror stories both ways, about people getting divorced because their husband got sus to something and wanted a paternity test, or husbands doing paternity tests behind their wives back and asking for advice to if they should admit it, and of course people who didn't get paternity tested and found out the hard way many many years later through 13and me or something.

I've always figured, if I were to intentionally have a kid with some one

Hey everyone,

I first posted here 6 days ago with a quite long post ago about how I'm cutting down significantly on drinking.

Since then I've Gone out drinking twice, once to a major event and once just bar hopping.

Both times very interestingly I woke up feeling terrible the next day, and after thinking about it for awhile I realized I probably had a hangover.

That was a whole mini existential crisis realizing that I've for so long been drinking so much that I either A. never really got hangovers because I just drink to cure the hangover or B. got so used to being hungover that I didn't notice. Probably mostly A?

Anyways, I guess that means my relationship with alchohal has flipped b

Hey guys, first post here. I just posted this on r/stopdrinking but I realized this place may be more my speed.

I've been drinking most days probably about 30 beers a week more or less for the last 7 years. Sometimes I've paused for a few days and got mild withdrawals but usually I just drink because it's... I mean I don't know really. I sort of assumed it was normal but apparently I'm a "moderate alchohalic"

Anyways, I haven't had access to a car for the last month because I got a DUI a year ago and just finished the paperwork on that, and because of that I've been stuck at the house at the mercy of my roomate basically whenever I want to do anything. Actually I just finished my mon

Just a hypothetical here, no need to get hyped because I'm confident this won't  happen.

Imagine some guy with a billion dollars wants to buy in.  He could buy shares with an algo or buywall, possibly pushing the price up against him while doing so...

or he could sell ITM puts.  I've  heard a lot about hedgefunds doing some fucky shit with ITM puts, and Im sure there's a pretty solid market for them.

So imagine mr. guy sells all these puts, and plans to hold the position until exercise.  The hedge funds must be thinking all the way til the end that those puts will be bought back and closed, maybe rolled.  But when mr. guy decides to get assigned, what happens?  Suddenly shorts
