I keep seeing posts on the main reddit feed of people complaining about movies being too loud and not being able to hear voices.

Reading the comments I see complaints about sound too loud or quiet, that they shouldn’t need speakers and movies should be mixed for TV speakers. I also see comments about natural lighting and HDR should be catered to cheap TV’s and even steaming compression. Someone said the filmmaker should focus on how it will looked being streamed at terrible quality.

When presented with any solution to these issues, they often say their terrible equipment should be the creators focus and not on making the best movie possible.

Also people keep complaining about actors mumbl

Truenas Scale, two interfaces configured in Load Balance LAG layer 2+3.
The bond has a static IP, the two interfaces do not.

Dell Powerconnect 2816 has LAG configured on the two ports and set to layer2+3.

Truenas scale can ping any machine.
About half of the machines can ping the bond IP.
If I set the LAG to admin flow control auto or enable, half of devices can ping bond, if i set it to disable, the other half can while the previous cant.

If I unplug 1 port, all machines can ping, but if I unplug the other port instead no machines can ping.

The lag options on the dell are load balance (layer2,3,2/3), admin auto negotiation, and admin flow control negotiation. There is also LAG stp

How do i put a host into standby mode that has never resumed standby or failed last attempt? When i click ok to put host into standby mode it just says the operation is not supported.

I have tried maintenance mode, disconnecting, remove from inventory, new ESXi install on the host.

BIOS has Wake on LAN enabled. And then I have other hosts that dont exit standby unless i press the power button even though its identical machine with same bios settings as hosts that can exit standby mode.

I had it working at one point. I dont know how. But the more containers i add like sonarr i eventually messed it up.

I have made 3 new VM’s in a row and i cant get it to work.

Ive read every link on google on how to fix the permissions and 100,000 questions to chatGPT. I have tried every combination of permissions possible and it never works.

Can someone give me the exact order on how you create your files with commands.

my compose file for qbit include PUID=100 and PGID=1000

my volume is set to /mnt/HDD/plex:/downloads I create the folder for the nfs share with sudo mkdir -p

Looking at newegg bundles should i do 5700x3d, motherboard, 32gb 3600 ddr4 ram for $300

or

7700x, motherboard, 32gb 6400 ddr5 ram for $481

Going first option would give me 200 extra to spend on gpu now, but option 2 might be better i dont know.

Planning on buying cpu first to figure out how much i want to spend on a gpu and try and sell old parts.

I have a MOBO lan port and 2 usb lan ports.

I have load balance LAGG with the two usb lan ports attached.

When i try to add the MOBO lan port to the bond and then test changes, the gui doesnt reload until it reverts after 60 seconds. I cant ping the bond IP during this time either.

If I recreate the bond and all 3 interfaces at once it just does the same thing and reverts.

Is it just not possible to have a bond with mobo and usb lan ports?

i have default firewall rules. My wan is connected to another router and gives it a 2.0 IP.

I set to listen interface webgui on Management port only.

If i set management port to 2.0 subnet, the same as wan, i can access the webgui with management cable unplugged.

If i change Management IP to say 5.0 then i can only access the webgui with cable plugged in. Cable is plugged into switch connected to lan port. However its accessible from my lan which is different subnet 200.0, I thought it shouldnt be accessible from outside the interfaces subnet?

I created firewall rule allowing access to web GUI through “Management” interface.

I disabled the anti-lockout rule. I changed GUI listen interface to Management only.

Why can I still access the GUI with the Management cable unplugged?

using scripts that record mouse clicks and keyboard keys. Once i finish recording, the script they create only does the first move. If i delete from the script the first move, the second move will work, but nothing after.

I can cd into home using cd /home

then if i want to cd from there into /user using cd /user I get -bash: cd: /user: No such file or directory

But if I do cd /home/user then it works

it is like this with every directory

also when inside my user directory it doesnt show the current directory path but in other directories it does show the path.
