As stated in the title, your Arizona Cardinals 2026 captains are:

Jacoby Brissett (QB),

Hjalte Froholdt (OL)

Casey Kreiter (LS)

Budda Baker (S)

Mack Wilson Sr. (LB)

I am a bit surprised we didn't get atleast one of Michael Wilson/Trey Mcbride/Paris Johnson Jr. as a captain. Also, the team clearly loves Jacoby despite what Reddit says.

What are your thoughts on this years captains?

Carson Beck's pre-season is over, with Minshew and Kedon Slovis slotted to play tomorrow versus the Packers. Unfortunately, Carson's rib injury has pretty much wiped out the entire August for him, with virtually no practice reps. The season will begin in a few weeks and its clear the coaching staff prefers Jacobby/Minshew. I don't think we're going to see Carson Beck for the rest of the season, which is a shame.

Also, I don't know how a superficial rib """injury""" can keep a player off the field for 4 weeks. Our safety Dadrion Taylor-Demerson smashed his ribs during the Cowboys game, but he was back in practice this week... The whole scenario makes no sense, so I have a feeling something

I don't want to be a downer, but it's been about a week since Carson Beck's "rib injury" has been disclosed to the public. In that week, Carson has not participated in the throwing part of practice. Given the injury scare's of this off-season and lack of practice, it's almost certain that Lafleur won't play Carson Beck on Saturday.

What are your thoughts on this so called "rib injury" that has lingered for weeks? And how disappointed are you that it will be another week of no Carson Beck highlights?

Here are the injuries, they vary in severity:

1st Round Pick: Jeremiyah Love. Assumed to miss the rest of pre-season and maybe first month from a high ankle sprain caused by a Raiders player drop tackling him.

2nd Round Pick: Chase Bisontis. Out the entire season with a torn MCL due to a Raiders player launching into his knee.

3rd Round Pick: Carson Beck. Day-to-day with a rib injury caused by diving during the HOF game.

4th Round Pick: Kaleb Proctor. Out the entire season due to a torn meniscus suffered during workouts in May.

On the bright side, our 5th Round Pick (Reggie Virgil, WR) and 7th Round Pick (Jayden Williams, OT) both have looked pretty good so far. How is your team's rooki

With Chase Bisontis out for the year, we're really going to need our prior guard prospects to step it up and fill the void. Jon Gaines looked really good in his return last year playing center and guard while Hayden Conner got injured and was overall limited in play.

What are your thoughts on these guards and our overall depth?

The whole context surrounding the Carson Beck injury makes 0 sense. The dude apparently got "injured" very early on versus the Panthers on an innocent play but then played the half + practiced the ENTIRE WEEK afterwards. What on Earth is going on? Did something happen horrific happen behind the scenes in practice?

I don't like this one bit...

Brendan Sorsby has just declared for the NFL supplemental draft, which occurs in a few weeks. Teams can bid their next year draft pick on him, hightest round pick wins (after tie breakers). In 2019, the Cardinals picked Jalen Thompson in the supplemental draft for a 5th round pick and it went well.

The big question is...do we bid on Brendan Sorsby and if so how high?
