I just got the electric bill, and cornered down my roommate (who has been living in this apartment for 3 years now, I just moved here a few months back). The electrical supply is now ~33% more expensive than it was for the bill the previous year.

Fuck the data centers.

Sorry but whenever I drink I imagine and think about what this show could have been if it had been renewed and I get very angry at all the management involved.

... that they could not save one city over the other, is simply because they carry the Lyrium Dagger! People keep forgetting that. The Lyrium Dagger is what attracted Ghilan'nain's attention and grounded the Dragon enough for Rook and companions to fight and drive it off, while the other city suffers because the Dragon is just up in the air doing damage out of reach because it has no motivation to ground itself and make itself vulnerable to attack.

So yes! Rook's choice has consequences and they going to save one city over the other is vastly different from Neve going to help Minrathous or Lucanis going to help Treviso and why they get blamed while Neve/Lucanis do not.

Sorry I know this is

At least 95% of the people (who are reacting, and who are BOOK READERS) is surprised when there's a scene in Moiraine's Rings where she's having sex with Rand and they're like "that's strange" when no it is not because Moiraine explicitly says in Book 5 that "I will do anything short of sharing his bed to see that he gets it (my advice)".

Which means that she DID see a version of herself bedding Rand in the Rings.

Has always been his, I think this is a reference to the title "Lord of Chaos" for the Dark One. And Mat is a Gambler, and what do Gamblers rely on? Luck of chance, which in turn requires chaos, not order. Because order requires a predetermined outcome. So of course out of all the main 5/6, Mat is closest to the Dark One because of his abilities.

What do people think of this line of reasoning.

It is explicitly stated that the strongest female channeler is able to do anything that the strongest male channeler can do, barring Talents, etc.

Nynaeve is literally only 2 levels below the strongest female channeler. Egwene is 5 levels below her, but still enough to make up the gap between Nynaeve and Rand.

Linking allows someone to reach levels of precision and dexterity that are not possible alone.

Lastly, the Eye of the World in the books is not a sa'angreal or angreal. It is exactly what it is, a pure untainted pool of saidin that a male channeler can use and is thus coveted in an Age where saidin is tainted and the only other source of untainted saidin ***

The true purpose of the Three-Arch Ter'angreal

TV - Season 2 (Book Spoilers Allowed)

The Aes Sedai believe that the Ter'angreal allows someone to come face-to-face with their greatest fears (and desires), and the books never really explain the Ter'angreal properly because no one really knows. But based on what the show gave us, I have a theory that the Ter'angreal (at least in the Show) are very much like Glass Columns and are in a way related.

The purpose of the Ter'angreal can be divided into two phases:

(1) You face your greatest fears and desires, and then run away from them (the Testing), because the Ter'angreal gives you a way out.

If you don't do (1), then the Ter'angreal will then proceed to

(2) Make you face and understand the consequences of your greatest

Since it's been 5 months since Season 1 and Ishy was released. Does anyone think that within those 5 months Ishy has managed to break most of the seals besides Lanfear and that Taim is literally Demandred causing chaos?

Crazy theory for Season 2

SpoilerTV - Season 2 (Book Spoilers Allowed)

So Season 2 covers both TGH and TDR. I have a possible idea/theory as to how they could have combined Falme and the Stone.

We know that when Rand battled Ba'alzamon in the sky, the battle was broadcast all about the land (all the False Dragons at the time simultaneously were defeated in the aftermath). What about, if instead of it just being a vision, it really was Rand and Ba'alzamon really travelling all about Randland via Travelling, and Rand picks up That Sword in the Stone in the process, proclaiming him as the Dragon Reborn not only in the sky, but also by the Crystal Sword at the same time?
