Hi guys, I’ve been trying to find a children’s picture book I loved in my youth and it’s time to ask for help. :)

My mum used to borrow it from the library and read it to me in the mid nineties. It’s about a boy that goes to the city with his mum and I think little brother (in a stroller?). The younger brother plays with a stuffed penguin of puffin of the eldest boy in a bus and it falls into a raincoat hood of a man that gets of the bus. The rest of the book is about tracking down the man to get the stuffed animal back. I think the cover is yellow-ish, but I could also confuse it with the color of the raincoat. Blurry memories.

Does this sound familiar to anyone? The book was in Dutch b

I went to my PCP with a long list of symptoms (see below) that are troubling me for a few years now (they got worse after the birth of my daughter, 3 years ago.) I got a blood test, but my TSH levels came back normal. I had this strange double feeling of relieve at one end, but a weird feeling, almost disappointment at the other end. Because I was almost convinced that I finally found what was “wrong” with me. I was wondering if it is possible to have these symptoms and a normal TSH, but still getting diagnosed in the end. And if someone has any advice for me. I don’t know what to do now. My PCP was talking about seeing a psychologist next.

My symptoms:

  • Extreme fatigue
  • Always cold.

Hello! I’m looking for people who could help me with the translation for a tattoo. I love the Italian language and country. One of my favorite movies is La vita è bella and I even named my daughter Bella.

I would love to have a tattoo that says that my daughter Bella is my life and also says that my life is beautiful. My appointment is tomorrow so I’m getting a bit nervous about choosing the right translation now.

I posted on this page before, but I got got so many different options that I got a bit lost.

What would be the best translation?

Some people say:

La mia vita è Bella

And some people say:

Bella è la mia vita.

Or maybe something different?

Thank you!

My daughter (2,5) has this thing that, when she gets upset in the middle of the night, she apparently loses the ability to speek, except for the word “No”. It’s so frustrating!

Last night she cried hysterically for over forty minutes, kicking and screaming while over stretching. Are you too cold? No. Too hot? No. Do you have pain? No. An itch? No. Are you thirsty? No. Diaper to tight? No. This went on for what felt like a decade. Turns out after a ridiculous amount of questions later, she has a tiny hangnail at her big toe, that she feels while wiggling her toes, in her sock, in her sleeping bag... Really?? Tear the tiny piece off, and falls into sleep in my lap within 30 seconds. Pffff.

Is it just me or does anyone else starts every single story they’re telling with: “I don’t remember if I already told you, but...”.

Every. Single. Goddamn. Time.
