In Prusaslicer, you can easily copy presets for the Core One over to the INDX using the preset comparison tool. The tool lets you select which parameters are copied.
In the comparison tool:
- check the "show all presets" box
- select an INDX preset on the right
- select the Core One Preset you want to copy on the left
- check the "transfer values" box
- check and uncheck values to choose which settings to copy
I've been using the Overture PETG filament profile and the 0.2mm Structural preset. They have been working well.
The spoolholders for the 4 tool head INDX mount on the left so there's nothing to hold the extended purge bin in place. I know the community has come up with solutions, but is there really no official way to use the extended purge bin with INDX 4T?
Will a 1.25 inch (31.75mm) hole work for the extended purge bin?
I've been using Yeggi.com, but there's always a delay loading as it checks to see if I'm human (I think I am) and it doesn't have advanced search features. Are there better options?
Both of these were printed with PETG on the Core One with the standard 0.4 HF nozzle. The structural profile gave me the perfect print on the left. The speed profile gave me the print on the right. Before I waste filament experimenting with different settings, I'm wondering what other people have found. Do I just need to change some settings like bumping up the heat or are the speed profiles unsuitable for PETG?
I just finished my build a couple of nights ago. The build experience was great. My heatsink thermistor broke, but it only took 3 business days for Prusa to get my replacement to the US. Some notes/tips:
- You don't need a ton of build space to put this together. I built it on a moving blanket that was folded up to 43"x34" (109.22 cm x 86.36 cm). You do need additional space to store the boxes, but this can be separate. I kept most of the boxes out in a hallway. Each section of the manual tells you which parts to retrieve and bring to your build space.
- If you can print a screw organizer do it. When you open a bag of screws, dump the unused ones in the organizer. I used this one: [http
As I was installing extruder cable guide, I noticed that one of the thermistor wires was hanging off. The other one fell off after I removed the thermistorr. :-(
Prusa support was great, but now I have to wait for the replacement before I can finish my Core One build.
