I’m losing my mind trying to figure out how to get my Wave i4 working. I have it wired like this:
* Neutral to neutral (terminal N)
* 110v line in and out (both L terminals)
* 110v switched line in to SW1
I have confirmed with a multimeter that the L terminals are hot at all times, neutral is good, and the switched hot only comes on as intended (this is tied to the power for an alarm light).
I’m on HomeAssistant and I have the i4 connected via zwave long range. The device is online, has been interviewed, and I don’t see any obvious problems with it. The problem is that the device seems to do nothing when the alarm goes on and SW1 sees 110v. I’ve checked the scenes, buttons it makes,
Happy to share more, but I’ll get right to the point. I bought a new home but only part of the water runs through the water softener, and there are indications it was designed this way, but I can’t figure out why… for example:
* Cold water faucets (all except a utility sink) are bypassed. So like the kitchen sink has hard cold and soft hot water.
* The refrigerator water line is bypassed, but the dishwasher is not (although maybe the dishwasher is on a hot water line?)
* The hot water heater is softened, so all hot water lines are
* The showers are softened, but the large tub (think it’s called a garden tub) is not
* Exterior hose bibs are not softened, but that part makes sense

Woke up to a low tire pressure warning indicating a slow leak (was 29 last night when I parked and 20 this morning) and found a nail in the “repairable” zone of my rear tire (standard stingray 305/30/20 Michelin tire - about 6/32” of tread remains).
Assuming it’s repairable (not driven low and not in a bad spot - it’s far from the shoulder) where do I actually take this? I’m planning to just take off the wheel (I have a flat jack and jack pucks) to avoid complications, but will a “normal” tire shop be able to safely repair, or do I need to just go to the dealer?
I’ve inherited a weird plumbing situation. I have a house that has a 3/4” water line coming into a bathroom behind a shower, a shutoff handle there, and then it splits into two separate “branches” - one 3/4” going to the garage and about a quarter of the indoor fixtures (hot water heater and thus all hot lines, laundry, showers, etc) and a smaller 1/2” branch feeds whirlpool and most of the cold water lines to sink faucets.
The problem is twofold:
* There is a nice water softener and water filter setup in the garage, but only the garage “branch” sees the benefits
* There is a PRV in the garage, so the water heater, expansion tank, softener, all hot lines, etc., are 60-65 psi, and the co
So I’ve been working with one particular artist off and on for a few months, and we’re maybe a quarter of the way through what I’d like have done by them. I love their style, they do good work, and they seem pretty nice and respectful in person. Never had any problems with them.
I’ll be vague as not to identify anyone, but this particular artist has been involved in a lot of public drama in recent days (made the news, and not in a good way), and we definitely don’t share a lot of the same views to put it lightly. I honestly wouldn’t want be seen walking into their shop right now. I’ve always heard “separate the art from the artist”, but I’m struggling to justify that.

I’m running a 70 tile temple that I just completed, and honestly I’m getting a lot of FOMO when people talk about temples that let them kill Atziri every other run and keep their snakes.
So I’m seriously weighing blowing it all up and starting over, but what’s the new “meta” temple strategy? I’m seeing a lot of different ideas, but I’m not quite up to speed on what’s current.
I recently moved to a bit more rural area and noticed that literally everyone here has some kind of 4 wheeler or beat up old 4WD truck in their garage that never moves. Over the weekend I found out why - despite living only a few miles from an area with really good road crews, my neighborhood gets no support during the winter. This meant spending a few days stuck at home while everyone was getting around just fine. Big hills, ice, snow, no problem for them.
Simultaneously I’d like to get rid of my current hauler (super beat up Honda odyssey with 200k miles that gets driven once every couple months) and I figured why not get something that can both haul and brave the weather? My daily has no
I’m honestly not sure if this is the best place (or what place would be more appropriate), but here’s the situation:
I’m somewhat new to real estate investing - I have a home of my own and a SFH that I rent out. I also have enough 9-5 income to cover a few mortgages no problem. I have a close family member who is, to be blunt, extremely poor. They went through an awful divorce and are fully disabled and cannot work, and cannot afford anything themselves, but can care for a smaller home without major issues. I more or less support them already so it’s not a huge leap. The biggest concern is that they live in very dangerous section 8 housing (think old school projects). I badly want to get th
This is my second league - first was all about learning the game fundamentals, this time I’ve better understood the economy and farming strategies, and now I’m starting to learn to create items. I can reliably generate around 25-50 div in an evening. Here’s where I am now - based on the Fubgun crit build:

(not sure how to link directly to POB - I’ve never used it successfully, but the link above has a POB link).
Questions:
- I know +3 skills on the amulet is a big miss right now, but is +2 on the quiver a bigger priority? A good example of either will be in the 100-200div range, so around a week of farming to obt
I have a handful of identical ceiling fans in my home - the one in question doesn’t have a brand logo (emblem is long gone) but I can make out “52-BRW” as the model number. This ceiling fan has one switch that powers it, and the fan and lights are controlled via pull chain.
In one of these specific fans the “fan” portion works fine, but there is no light. The pull chain does nothing. The “light kit” is connected with two wires, which show ~120v across them when them, and I show 120v in the sockets themselves when everything is plugged in and turned on. The problem is, even showing full voltage, there is zero light. What I’ve tried/checked:
- Swapped an identical light kit from another fan
I’m sitting at zero points several months later, and I can’t seem to find any concrete info on whether I was supposed to get any rewards points withy my new C8. Reports seem varied at best.
Anyone get points with theirs?
