Wednesday, Waste Management picks up garbage in Red Rock, Stead and other North areas. Clean out those refrigerators and freezers of all the rotten food for pick up tomorrow so it doesn'tstink for another week. For insurance purposes including people with Renters insurance, take pictures of everything you toss as many policies will reimburse you.

Pack Life/Lounge

Question/Discussion

How do events passes work now that Pack Life has been phased out? There used to be a QR code on Pack Life and that's gone.

We have a walk out basement but it gets very little direct sunlight and isn't great for house plants my mom loves. We have the plug in retro fit LED canless recessed lights. Do they make full spectrum lights we can put in instead?

Hey all! I'm in need of a left rear tail light for my truck after a Karen hit my truck and took off. After market is fine, I suppose since searching for a decent OEM would be harder. Who is your preferred supplier of parts like these?

My vehicle was the victim of a hit and run, but thanks to store cameras, a witness who took pics, and RPD who gave me the person's insurance carrier and policy number, said person admitted fault. Now I need a referral to everyone's preferred collision repair shop.

TIA

New here, go easy on me please. Thanks in advance. Northern NV is my location if there might be shop suggestions.

My kid has a 2004 Chevy Tracker 4x4 V6 with the check engine light that was going on and off for some time. It now stays on. Codes read p0171, p0173, p0174, p0175.

After pouring in a bottle of Rislone and him not driving it, but a half tank, the light didn't go off. He took it to a shop that doesn't smog. They did oil change (at his request) and oil filter, air filter replacement, fuel induction service, and apparently checked the o2 sensors and found them operating.

MAF changed in the last 6 years. It's failed smogs before, had new plugs, MAF and such and passed. It seems t

So, my range and thermostat are on the same wall albeit, opposite sides of said wall. When I turn use the oven and often, range top, the heat that accumulates shows the temp higher than it actually is in the house and, as a result, the heater won't turn on.

Aside from moving the thermostat or turning it up, what easy and lower cost options can you think of to limit this occurring? I was thinking some sort of stainless backsplash.

Sierra automotive repair on Plumb was where we took our cars and they were honest and reliable. Anyone know if they moved or the technicians work elsewhere now? Nick preferably.

I have a young adult looking for his first job to work during college. I know the schools have job boards which they're looking at. Any other places that anyone knows of that is school schedule flexible? Little to no experience?

Attached townhome in 1970's built 100ish unit community with an HOA and fees. Townhome (considered condo by the county) burned down with several others in the same row and was rebuilt so from the slab up, is all new. We do not own the land. The new tax assessment is wildly high and includes land improvement costs.

While I get that the unit is now "new" it's still surrounded by older units in an older community built in the 70s with no amenities which all have to lower the value of the property.

How does someone argue the assessment how what are the odds of success?

I'm missing a couple (maybe a few) keys that came off my carabiner clip. It definitely had a kwikset type, silver key and 1 or 2 little used keys on a ring, no decorative keychain. I was parked near the non-grocery entraince in a diagonal handicapped spot. If anyone found anything in the store or parking lot please DM me. I can't get Walmart to answer their phone.

Do any of you know anyone who has, can loan/rent a 20x40 tent like those white ones for weddings? No walls needed. Needed July 4th only for a memorial.

My kid and I are scheduled to camp this week and though I'm usually super prepared, have the menu all sorted, things packed and prepped. I'm just finding it hard to get motivated this time. Anyone ever get like this?

I'm drawing blanks on the menu and while I have stuff I can make. I don't want any of it.

Menu - I always have meals prepared and frozen, ready to go. Since we recently had company for a couple weeks. I made several of the items I had frozen and really don't want them again this soon. The camp standards and favorites have been served at home recently too. Coming up with new ideas that are simple and include things I already have is resulting in a brick wall. Kid is no help. H
