Going to try to keep this short.

In February I did a 3-day IT Technician position with a company at a Data Center. Loved it and expressed interest. No position open, get another position at a different company in March.

Note: HR lady and CIO are in Malaysia currently (13 hours ahead of me).

April 27th comes around and the HR lead randomly texts me and asks to call me about a potential job opportunity. I wanted to hear her out since I loved the company. She told me they really liked me and were creating a role because they need hands and wanted to speak with me before posting anything. I said I wanted to remain loyal to my company for a few more months before joining but would love to do p

Hello, 23M graduated with Computer Engineering degree a year ago. Worked part time doing very basic cybersecurity for about a year. Just started a full time entry level IT job about a month ago after applying for over 8 months. The job I am currently in does not really offer much growth, if it were growth, it would basically be unpaid/no promotion. I love this job I’m in now, but just don’t want to sell myself short in the long run!

Long story short, they give 2.5k a year to us for certifications! It has been my dream to work at NASA or honestly anything space related for many many years. Any suggestions for certifications/steps/paths I could take to help me get to my goals?

Maybe a Syste

Hello everyone! As the title says, my gf and I are looking for places in Houston to try out Padel! We are hoping for somewhere cheaper if possible and inner city. We play pickleball every now and then and love it but want to try Padel. I know of a few different places around midtown/montrose but would love to hear feedback from others. (Especially if there are any cheap places around here) thanks for your time!

As Title says, I am looking for a Data Center Technician position somewhere Here in Houston, does not really matter where it is at. I Have been held back/mistreated in my previous position and want to show a company that I can be the best employee that they have. I learn very quickly in training and I am very eager to learn and grow within a company. If anyone has any leads or connections I would greatly appreciate you. I've tried my luck with recruiters and job boards but to no avail... I can get along with anyone and want to be able interact with people and show up, especially when I am needed most.

Hey everyone! I graduated from university (Computer Engineering) a few months ago and am still finding my way. I have been really interested in working as a data center technician, but in all honesty, I have no experience and my network skills aren't that good. I honestly just want experience, I am even willing to just go for a few weeks to learn from someone for free. I am an EXTREMELY fast learner and pick up on things very quickly. I hate to boast, but I get along with just about anyone and everyone. Any one have any ideas or insight for me in Houston, Tx??

Yesterday and today I have been on LinkedIn and Datacentermaps looking up emails and emailing people/companies and basically saying

Hey everyone, as the title suggests. I was installing Linux on my MacBook Pro (T2 security chip) and accidentally uninstalled MacOS when I partitioned the drive. I know, I’m an idiot. But I was talking with people and blah blah whatever.

Anyways… I tried downloading Ubuntu and then changed to Mint. The trackpad, the integrated keyboard, and the internet does not work. I have to plug in an external keyboard, mouse, and WiFi adapter to get internet. Thing is, I only have 1 USB hub that takes in USB 2.0/3.0. The others are USB-C. I’ve spent days trying to figure it out so I decided to come here for some help. I have a Windows PC and another MacBook Pro (that works) as well for any downloads I

Hello all,

I am a senior in university studying Computer Engineering right now (graduating in 3 weeks!!) and it has always been my dream to work at NASA/someone that contracts to them. I got an interview with a company a little over 3 weeks ago and I thought it went extremely well, only thing that may have been an issue was my gpa but I explained to him why it was low and the interviewer said it should be fine.

When we were wrapping up the interview, he said that he will get back with me within a week for another interview (never happened, it has been 3 weeks) and then a few days ago I went to the portal and he had denied me the SECOND the interview ended.

Is it only gpa based? I made sur
