Having just finished the Horizon Burning Shore DLC and the Sand novels, been itching for more in that kind of vein.

Ideally something with a futuristic setting, and you are discovering either the lost knowledge of the past or investigating some precursor races. Bonus if there is some mystery elements to discover what happened to us/precursors/the ancients before. The Horizon games were perfect for this, but even Mass Effect had some of this with their precursor race investigation. I liked Outer Wilds for similar reasons too.

Doesn't necessarily have to be a character action game, open to most genres.

First actual post here, hi everyone! I am not front desk myself, but as property IT manager I get the questionable fortune of seeing a lot of what goes down on the front desk while I am working on front-desk PCs.

This tale concerns the harrowing experiences that one Mr. Important had to deal with during his checkout at our humble property. His long arduous stay at the luxury hotel is over, and he spends the entire checkout complaining. How dare we not upgrade him to a suite, don't we know he is a Shiny Member AND the CEO of his company? The Other Luxury Hotel downtown always has a champagne amenity, we only gave him fruit! Not fun to deal with, but certainly not the last time our f

Do we know if there are any victory conditions being added into Biotech? We know there are at least a couple new starts with the mechanitor and sanguophage start. The past two DLCs each added a new win con, was just wondering if there would be anything in Biotech that we know of, or if it has even been discussed so far.

I know most people don't pursue the victory conditions explicitly, but could be nice to have the option for a run or two.

I realise given the current climate of the sub that this post will be unpopular, but I am actually kind of excited for Mercenaries.

Put down the pitchforks and torches for a second and hear me out.

The gameplay seems actually fun, and a pve mode I can engage in that has some form of persistent progression actually sounds great. PvP is whatever, we have so many modes for that already, but the pve side of the game has been pretty underserved until now. Building out teams seems like it will have a lot of replay value, if you are into that kind of collecting and progressing.

Monetization has been what really has got people upset, and if it really takes all three bundles (for $130) to play e

Just needed to get this out of my system, as this seems to be the only place I can.

Context, I live in Japan and we have been experiencing a declining birth rate for a while now. It’s a constant topic on the TV and from politicians. Half the public works seem to be focused on ways to get people to have kids. Reports have highlighted that it may be even lower because people don’t want to have kids during the pandemic, understandably.

I feel like half the time I’m the only person seeing this as a good thing. Rather than addressing unsustainable economic models predicated on constant and infinite population growth, there are large sums of public spending going to try to incentivize fami

I’ve made pretty decent progress in the game, have the first couple vehicles, but really wanted to tag my base with beacons before moving on. Unfortunately I cannot find them for the life of me, I’ve tried YouTube videos but since spawns seem random that doesn’t help a whole lot.

I checked the wiki for the first time just to try to find them, but they say it spawns in the safe shallows. I’ve combed that area for four hours now and still can’t find a single one. Do certain blueprints not spawn in every game? I really don’t want to start venturing far out before ensuring I can get back to my base.

Any advice for finding them, or are there other places they can spawn? I’ve ventured out i

While working on FF trophies, it reminded me of challenges I used to give myself while replaying FF games. Did anyone else used to do things like this just for the fun of it?

Examples:

FFT: All Monster Run. Ramza as mediator, only monsters besides that. Simple but a lot of fun.

FF8: Permanent Bonding. This was more complicated, but basically you can junction any GF you want, but it’s permanent. If you give Ifrit to Squall, nobody else can ever junction Ifrit.

For added theme, I only junctioned magic that matched that GFs theme/element.

Just curious if anybody else had any fun runs they invented.

A few searches and I couldn’t find an answer to this, probably because prefabs aren’t as popular as custom empires, but are there any prefab lithiod empires included in the pack? What are their traits like?

I’m not sure why but I always prefer playing the prefabs over making my own custom factions, and may hold off on the dlc for a sale if it’s only a custom empire option for now.

Disclaimer: I bought this RDA for the purpose of the review myself. My opinion of /u/Anthony_Vapes has no bearing on this review

Been reading ECR and reviews here for a long time, I have always enjoyed writing so thought to give back to the extremely helpful community here by getting into reviews myself.

I thought what better way to start with my own reviews than reviewing a product designed by one of our most esteemed reviewers here, the Mjölnir by /u/Anthony_Vapes!

I have seen some talk about this RDA here, but in the interest of keeping my review as free of bias as possible I have avoided them a

First post here, I have perused some of the resources provided and found them helpful, but was wondering if anyone had any further advice. To preface this, I am located in Japan so some of the companies we are dealing with may be different. I also want to apologise preemptively if I am violating any rules. I tried to be careful in regards to this.

My girlfriend of a few months (though close friend for many years) has recently gotten involved in something that I fear may be a MLM scheme. The name is Success Gate System (SGS). It's hard to know for sure because I can find very little information about it, in either English or Japanese, though if anybody has heard about it, I would love t

I manage a language school and language cafe in Japan. Basically a place people can come to practice French, German, English, etc. with native speakers, or take lessons. We have had a few regular customers who always bring children in strollers who sometimes cause a lot of distractions when they start crying.

I have been pushing my boss to allow us to ban younger children, and this week he finally agreed. Younger children are now barred from the place, with the cutoff being junior high school age (where they can hopefully be expected to behave themselves). We retain the right to kick them out as well though if they cannot.

I am just really happy about this, because it was always a head

As the title says, the GB crew have mostly pretty diverse gaming tastes but every so often there are titles that just click for all of them. Last year this was Hitman, this year it seems to be Battlegrounds.

Are there any titles that so many of them love that you just can't get into for whatever reason?

In my case, Battlegrounds just does nothing for me. I don't think it's bad, I just find it boring to either play or watch. I kind of zone out every time it comes up in a podcast. Likewise, they seem to be pretty hot on Nier and I have just never played a game I found more mediocre, and I love JRPGs.

This is pretty normal, everyone has different tastes, but do any of the games that they

Could be anything, whether it is the way that you play games, purchasing habits, or even the amount time you spend on your Playstation.

For me, I'm a completionist to the point that it sometimes negatively impacts my time with the game. For example in Persona 5 I wanted to get everything I possibly could in my first playthrough, so followed a guide for every single day. I'm pretty sure I would have enjoyed the game way more if I just played it on my own, but I can't bring myself to do it. I've actually dropped off games I otherwise like because trophy hunting or collectible hunting has just weighed me down too much.
