I've been playing nearly since the start of Tacticus and so I have just about every character they've released. I'm more bottlenecked on Orbs and Books than I am shards. The community choice banner was so underwhelming/not aligned with my choices that I skipped it.

For veteran players is the current or upcoming banners interesting to you at all? I have a slate of mythic characters or characters in mythic progress(Lavistodes is mostly mythic, Psyker and AdMech have characters going through missions). I just have so far saved up my breqs and am reluctant to use them on anything where I wouldn't have a chance at good value.

  1. Is there a point in bringing Dante/Trajann to D3 from D1? They're mostly brought for their buffs so would I be better off putting that energy towards other characters beyond leveling their skills?

  2. For the deal 100k damage with Karyian in a turn mythic quest, what's the minimum required to get to 100k? Mine is D3 35A 46P and I have Dante and Trajann with level 35 passives. Is that enough? Unfortunately my guild sped through the lower level raid bosses and so I haven't gotten a chance to see if i could reach 100k on them, but so far I haven't managed it. Curious what others did and their level of investment.

With changes to shops and mythic, how does that change the way we should think about buying from the shop? As a kind of end game player, meaning I have a mostly D1 raid team, and a wider roster for LREs, are xp books a priority, or should I be considering going shards for trying to get Kharn to mythic? This answer about priorities changes depending on where you're at in the game, but is this update a push to go tall?

Everyone generally knows what the best abilities are in the game to invest in. Early on summons like Bellator and Aleph Null, and later on GR/Meta characters like Eldryon, Ragnar, Kharn, ect. But there's a lot less information there on what the mid tier abilities are, ones that you would invest to 17 or 26. As I'm upgrading characters for LREs, ones that are needed but not traditionally strong, I'm struggling with deciding what characters need to be just leveled up enough vs those worthy of more legit investment. As an example, is Patermine's summon good enough given the Terrifying track for the Trajann LRE? How about Maugan Ra's passive? These are obviously questions for people who have bee

I'm about to start painting my EC and I wanted to throw out some ideas for feedback. I want to go a purple and gold scheme, but I like the idea of some bits of armor being replaced/transformed into the pink/black of the modern scheme. Only thing is I'm not sure if the purple and pink in particular will go well together, specifically if I had pink and purple panels adjacent to each other. One idea I had is pink shoulder pads/helmets and then occasionally black armor panels instead of purple, with all gold trim.

Curious if anyone else is trying a similar hybrid scheme or has any ideas/feedback.

Typhus was one of my first legendary characters, but other than a handful of LREs, hasn't been of much use. I leveled his active to 36, he's gold 1, and i also ascended him to 5 stars, not very worthwhile use of orbs. I have a much more expanded roster now, and have the shards(but not the orbs) to wing Maladus and get another source for my RT shop. Should I use it, or save it(although I have 2) for a time they really nerf someone?

I'm not 100% sure where I want to invest next on my account. The past several months I've mostly invested for unlocking legendary characters, and while events have different qualifications, I've been able to unlock kharn, mephiston on the first event and was able to complete ragnar and vitruivius' last events as well. I'm not in a guild that participates in GW(although maybe worth changing that) and I find it hard to find the time to keep up and do extra stuff like TA. If I want to complete the elite campaigns, is it better to invest in one character to D3, or should I start to push some of my other gold characters to D1?

I have enough to fully ascend my snappawrecka, which I believe is what unlocks the RT store. Is it better to do this right away, or should i be saving my legendary orbs for upgrading characters that will be more useful?

This is fairly straight forward, most templates that I find for making katanas tend to be on the shorter side, and I'm looking for something that is longer as the sword I'm trying to make(Tensa Zangetsu) is a lot closer to the Odachi style length than that of a standard Katana. Does anyone know of a good template I can use? I don't particularly trust myself to make one myself or to create a fill in spot between pieces of a regular katana template.

I'm looking to make Tensa Zangetsu, an anime sword from Bleach. What thickness of foam should I go for, and is there a difference between the eva foam I see on amazon and the "high density" eva foam from hobby lobby as an example? Just want to go with what fits best for this.

I've gotten a lot of Cecia and Thoran copies, but currently limited on Acorns, is it better to save up to get Cecia to Supreme, or should I ascend Thoran to Legendary now?

I'm just getting into painting my world eaters and I'm going for a mid/hybrid Heresy scheme of white armor with red shoulder pads, helmet, backpack. but I want the white armor to look like it's been stained with blood, still white, but rather than the typical muddy wash many painters have done, something that looks like dried blood is in the recesses. My first go of it was priming the model in black, a heavy grey seer zenithal, shading the armor with berserker bloodshade, then going back over with a similar off white. The look isn't bad, but not sure it's giving off that vibe. I've also gone and done recess/panel lining with the shade to give a more distinct look, but I was wondering if anyo

Wondering who I should invest into to make FoC Elite doable. I can hardly three star the first level. I currently have Archimatos at S2, Angrax, Harken and Rotbone S1.

I have Typhus at B2, then everything else is iron or lower, I have Maladus, Volk, Toth, Yazagor, and the rest of the DG lineup.
