Now I know legally the prosecution for the crime of rape doesn’t stop once the victim is married to the accused. But what about socially? Is that still something families encourage and push upon girls?

Ps: in 2017 the new law against violence targeting women deleted the a loophole that had previously existed ending decades of rape victims being forced to marry their rapists..

Hi is Marrying girls to their rapist an accepted and encouraged behavior in Tunisian Society?
I know that was a known loophole before the revision in 2017. But is it socially acceptable o not?
