So, I've seen a lot of questions going around SM from people who only read the transcript of Patrick Clancy's 911 call and only saw parts of his testimony. Some of these questions, like the ones about how Lindsay was able to convey so much information while she was hypothermic and severely injured, are more reasonable. Some are based on pseudoscientific analysis of body language and the linguistic choices of a man who'd just walked in on the most horrific scene that a parent can imagine, and those are no more reasonable than the people trying to do an analysis of Lindsay Clancy's crying to determine if it's real or performative. Most of the people analyzing that have experienced child loss a

Note: This post is mainly just for fun. I don't believe that the IOC would go for any of these methods of allocating individual apparatus medals for rhythmic gymnastics.

So, we all know that the IOC doesn't allocate time for RG to have individual apparatus finals, nor do they give out overall team medals like they do at Worlds. But I was thinking (loosely) about the way that individual Olympic medals in AG used to be allocated in the olden days (say, back in the 50s) before they had a separate qualifying round, team final, AA final, and individual event finals. (As we know, the individual team final didn't come around until after the end of compulsories. Then, the compulsory and optional r

So, we all know by now that the majority of the fandom believes that Aegon "Young Griff" Targaryen is an unknowing fraud. Theories range from him being a random Lyseni boy to a descendant of Calla Blackfyre and Aegor Rivers or one of Haegon Blackfyre's younger sons or yet another Blackfyre to a descendant of Aerion Brightflame or the son of Illyrio Mopatis and his second wife Serra or some combination of all of the above. There are many reasons why people believe this to be true, and I think that some of them are pretty compelling. I do think that it's worthy questioning why the Golden Company would support a real descendant of Daeron II or why Illyrio seems so devoted to Young Griff or why

So, the back ground of my question is: after Darja Varfolomeev won the AA in Paris, I saw a lot of YouTube and social media comments lamenting the fact that Stiliana Nikolova and Sofia Raffaeli both fell victim to the Olympic favorite curse.

My question is: why was Varfolomeev not considered at least as much of a favorite as they are? I understand that Nikolova won the 2024 European Championships with the highest AA score of the quad and that Raffaeli won five gold medals and one bronze medal at the 2022 World Championships, but Varfolomeev won all five individual gold medal at the 2023 World Championships and still did well at the 2024 Euros. She won gold in ribbon and bronze in the AA. I

So, I've been thinking about this concept for the past few days, ever since u/kittendough created this thread. In this thread, another commenter made a reference to Ainosuke's intelligence and wit and his use of metaphors, including the story of Adam and Eve. I agree that this is a sign that Ainosuke is not only intelligent but also educated and culturally aware, and I wanted to take a moment to consider what his choice of the Adam and

I came across this video from Intlgymnast on my Instagram feed, and I had to share it with you all.

I saw a few posts about Ke Qinqin and her incredible form and technique on beam last year. She was born in 2010, so she won't turn senior until next year, but it looks like she's just as good, if not better, than she was last year. She's now doing an aerial walkover (with a perfectly straight back leg) + ring jump (with oversplit on her front leg, which is thankfully not super low, and an impeccable ring position) + Korbut.

Last night, I had a nightmare where Carla became sentient and tried to take over the world. Is this a sign that I've been consuming too much Sk8 content?

Before I get into things too much, I want to say that this post contains spoilers for season 3 up through the end of episode 9, "How the Story Ends."

So, I actually liked Season 3 overall, but I did have one major criticism. It concerns some of the fight choreography, particularly during the confrontation between Shauna and Natalie at the beginning of episode 9. Episode 8 ends on a major cliffhanger, where Shauna, Taissa, and Lottie all decide to stay at the camp instead of following Kodiak and Hannah to the pickup point for the frog scientists. Despite the fact that the pro-rescue group holds both range weapons, with Natalie in control of the gun and Travis in control of the crossbow, Sha
