I’ve done a handful of diamond paintings and I’m still in the process of figuring out what I like. I can make sure to order from different stores, at different price points, different canvas sizes, some rounds and some squares, different types of specials etc, etc.

But what about, you know, the actual images themselves?

Is art style more or less impactful than color palette? Would a cel shaded/cartoon style picture be similar to a stained glass illustration? How much impact does subject matter have? What’s the difference between a meadow landscape or a still life vase of flowers or a giant close up of a single rose?

I’d love to hear about what everyone looks for, or looks to avoid, whe

I found a couple pens that I like on Homfun Official Store and when I add them to my cart it seems like I’m getting charged $4.25 shipping per item. Is this standard on AliEx? I’m willing to pay shipping, but it might be the difference between 3 pens and 1 pen 😂

Hi, I was recently in a USA based chain craft store and a stand of unfinished ceramic vases caught my eye and woke in me a desperate desire to reenact some elementary school crafting. Thing is, the vases were very porous to the touch and I have a hard time believing they will hold water and that’s kind of important since I would like to use them as actual vases. The internet tells me that these are called “bisques” and that theoretically they are meant to be painted/glazed and then fired, but actually no one with a scrap of common sense is going to allow any random piece of unknown provenance into their kiln.

If I get some enamel craft paint and apply it according to the product instruct

I remember being a little kid in the American midwest 90s/00s, visiting my little kid friends and it feels like maybe 1 in every 4 had a mom or grandmom who had put up these wallpaper strips, usually in the kitchen but sometimes they'd be all over. It wasn't full length wallpaper, the rest of the wall would be painted and then somewhere near the ceiling they would add on these patterned strips, around 6-12 inches across. They were usually fruits and/or flowers, though you would sometimes see pastoral farm scenes or stars or whatever. If it was in the bathroom, it would be seashells. Some links to examples:

Hi! I have 0 practical experience with pond building and I don’t know anyone who does, so I thought I would come here and ask if this is a terrible idea before I get too far into planning. My house is on the side of a hill, my backyard slopes down for ~100-150ft until it comes to a cliff/ravine where there’s a natural stream. I want to put in a pond. Can I make a little stream bed that would mostly be dry, but during rain would direct water into the pond, with another trench/stream bed on the opposite side that would direct water from the pond down to the creek?

My thought is basically rain barrels are cool, but ponds are cooler. Instead of keeping a bunch of rainwater in a barrel, could I

TL;DR: I want to know if playing an NPC/origin character, specifically Lae’zel, changes some decisions before the final boss fight, specifically regarding >!the Orpheus stuff and becoming a mindflayer!< or if they’re given the exact same choices and outcomes as Tav.

In the run up to the final battle I >!chose Orpheus!< and listen I’ve got a whole lot of feelings about what he said but I’m trying really hard to not get derailed on a rant tangent. I had accidentally read some spoilers about how >!Karlach can do it instead!< but that didn’t come up in dialogue at all, even after doing some save scumming to try different responses. So I tried sending all of my companions over one by one >!to
