Opened both account on 8/28/2023.

-Deposited $15,000 in savings account and had a partial amount of my salary direct deposited into the checking account.

Seems like some people get paid out immediately after completing qualifying activities and some get paid at the very last day. Strangely received a letter in the mail a couple of weeks after opening both account that they couldn’t open an account (didn’t specify which one) because they couldn’t verify my identity.

Unfortunate experience at AD - Anyone relate?

I had been on the list and lusting after a DJ (ref. 278341RBR) jubilee at my local AD for the past year. I’ve stopped in twice a week, with lunch and cultivated, what I thought, to be a great relationship with the rep. Over the past year, I was offered a few watches but they were all undesirable (126300-0021🤮) but I wanted to hang in there for the right one.

Finally - my wife’s boyfriend at the AD calls! The reference I had been bringing Chick-fil-a in for the better part of a year, was about to pay off! I'm really good friends with the owner, Devin, and wish I were a machinist by trade so I could take this position. I've worked for him before in a different capacity years ago and we're still friends today. Couldn't have asked for a better boss and definitely looks out for his guys! Their machinist is only quitting because he wanted a less physically demanding job and has already gotten his dream desk job somewhere.
