Hello all, I've run into a situation that I can't determine the cause of, and am wondering if anyone has any insight.

Uruguay was conquered by Brazil roughly 2 years prior, and my friend playing Brazil noticed the buildings in Uruguay had all become empty as tens of thousands of people left the state for reasons we can't determine. It doesn't seem to be a short spike given it's been conquered for over 2 years and we've watched as the population ticks down for at least a few weeks.

Anyone have any clue what's going on, or encountered a similar situation?

I'm soon moving into an apartment where my bedroom will have only 1 window which faces into the living area, and won't be receiving much natural light.

Wondering if anyone has any experience or advice around room lighting, how to best organize the room, or even any personal changes that I might find useful.

I've recently been taking a closer look at the extra-political life of a local politician, and what I've found has definitely made me question some of how our political system is run.

I can elaborate further after, but the gist of what I've found is that a local politician used to have a property rental company of her own (I'm sure some of you know who this is), which she gave to her adult children to run once she entered politics.

Her extended family is is one of the largest property developers and property management groups in the province, and in her time before entering politics, she served as the agent for a large group of these companies that now hold great power in the local propert

I apologize for the half rant form this took, but I'm just very frustrated and have no idea what else to do.

Myself and two others are looking to rent a 3-bedroom unit starting in September to save money.

I've been checking Kijiji, FB Marketplace, and a handful of other sites daily, and reaching out to every listing without cockroaches or bedbugs. I've reached out to over 20 landlords in the last 3 weeks, and I've so far received 1 reply, who then stopped replying after that initial message. We have no issue paying the advertised prices for any of these units, we just don't even get the chance to talk to the landlord.

Am I missing something? I'm not even getting the chance to make a cas
