When you cannot take water with you, you're reliant on finding sources of fresh water to survive, so I was wondering when humans first started making ways to carry days of water resources with them to be able to survive across longer distances or in deserts?

I love watching travel documentaries and travel YouTubers, but it seems the only travel YouTubers I have really watched over the years are 20-40 year old cishet men, most of them white Americans. They make cool stuff, but their experiences don’t really reflect how someone like me would be treated in those countries they visit. So I’m looking for travel YouTubers who are openly queer, and ideally women or non-passing trans people.

I’ve considered paying for the lifetime Rosetta Stone subscription, but I saw multiple language YouTubers call it bad, and I considered the iPhone app AnkiMobile, but I saw many people say that flash cards aren’t a great way to learn language, while others say it is vital and the best app.

So which ones are actually worth it, especially for a lifetime of learning and talking to people across borders?

This may be a lot of assumptions that are built into what I've learned from online and offline sources over the years. I'd be happy to have any assumptions corrected.

It is commonly said that human civilization (the construction of states with political structure that rise up from settlements and agriculture) rose separately in Egypt, Mesopotamia, the Indus river valley, the Yellow & Yangtze river basins, Mesoamerica and the Andes mountains. 6 regions, 6 cradles of civilization.

Following from this, states in the MENA and Europe regions derive from copying Egypt/Mesopotamia or states that copied them, states in South Asia, East Asia and Southeast Asia copied the Indust river valley or Yell

Some RPGs have combat that gets very unwieldy if you have 10+ participants on either side. Others have difficulty balancing for duels. Others are meticulously balanced at one scale and then use an entirely different set of mechanics for other scales. I’m looking for games where one could do duels, group combat and mass combat and not use completely different sets of mechcanics for each. Even better if it’s a game with a “combat as war” philosophy, IYKWIM.

In most cases where any of the OG 7 Justice League members disappears, there's plenty of legacy heroes to take over for them in any of their many capacities, but what if those aren't there either? I've been wondering about this for a while, like which characters are the best followup, the second/third line of defense, the B-tier of the League.
