What if Haldor sold bronze / iron / silver / black metal "pallets" that could be combined with 30 bars of that metal at a forge to create an item that could go through portals, and that item could be crafted again back into bars on the other side (consuming the pallet in the process?)

Apply a nontrivial cost to them (500g?), unlock each after that biome's boss, and the game would have a nice way to move small amounts of metal around, while there would still be a reason to do a full longship run if you actually need gobs and gobs of it. It would also be a decent gold sink.

I miss grass

Looking for Mods :CS2:

Is there a mod I didn't see that adds tall grasses? They're so useful; are we still waiting on asset modding for that?

Early access is a great idea on a technical level for distributing the load, but it's been a but controversial on a social level. An alternative idea could be:

  • Expansion drops on a Wednesday

  • For the first week, the intro quest guides you to a warband-daily quest that offers you a choice: ship off to the new staring zone OR receive an item that grants a full level of rested XP on that character

Being able to start the weekend with a reserve of rested XP would help the busy gamer dads get to level cap in fewer hours played, and regular players not taking time off work would have reason to consider delaying one or two days if they know it won't terribly delay reaching level cap.

It seems like the external markets don't care what price you sell extracted resources at, and cotton farms produce quite a bit more than other farm types for a given area. Max out the taxes on them and it practically feels like an exploit - My new town of 4.3k has one large and one medium cotton field, and together they're responsible for half my tax income.
