Hi,

I'm thinking about developing my own film. I would also like to scan the negatives at home.

I shoot 35 and 120 film.

Is a Flatbed like an Epson the to go scanner? Or is DSLR/mirrorless the way to go?

I don't own a mirrorless camera. Only a Nikon D5200.

Advice is very welcome and also your own experiences

Today I updated my Mac to the latest version, macOS 27 Golden Gate.

After the restart, I immediately noticed some odd behavior. The system started freezing multiple times. Open windows would suddenly stop responding, and the only way I could close them was through the application icons in the Dock.

Another strange issue is that some folders appear to be "empty." However, when I try to access them, it seems macOS is searching for content through a photo editing application that I had been using earlier (Affinity). I've never seen this behavior before, and it feels very unusual.

Has anyone else experienced similar issues after installing this update?

I was wondering if the new polaroid film is more durable now than the film 10 years ago. My old polaroids have some weird stains in them and in my opinion don't last a lifetime. On Tue other hand, my Instax fotos look pretty much the same as they did more than 10 years ago.

This because I'm still conflicted between the Polaroid and Instax system...

Ik ben aan het rondkijken naar een goed all weather motorpak. Nu heb ik al schoenen gekocht met het idee straks met motor jeans en lumberjack motorjas te gaan rijden, dus maar van die Timberland achtige motorschoenen gekocht. Ik dacht dat de rest wel kan wachten, maar door die stinkende kleding die ik mag lenen van de rijschool (wel superfijn natuurlijk,.maar die stank....), wil ik toch liever mijn eigen kleding aanschaffen. Tweedehands ben ik al aan het kijken, maar aangezien ik nog les en geen idee heb wat er allemaal te koop is, maakt het mijn zoektocht er niet makkelijker op. Er zijn in mijn omgeving (Arnhem) niet echt winkels met grote voorraden, dus even shoppen zi

Halen jullie wel eens tweedehands motorkleding?

Ik merk dat ik de kleding, vooral jassen van mijn rijschool vreselijk vind stinken.

Aangezien ik nog aan het lessen ben, hoe ik nu nog geen hele dure motorpak. Daarnaast is mijn idee om straks een jeans en lumberjack achtige jas te kopen, maar nu met lessen en met oog op de herfst/winter wil ik een waterdichte all weather jas en broek.

Best prijzig allemaal. Maar is Vinted/marktplaats wel ok voor beschermende motorkleding?

Ik denk dat het de hoogste tijd om zelf even voor mijn lessen een jas en broek aan te schaffen zonder daar meteen een rib uit mijn lijf voor kwijt te zijn.

Ik ben momenteel aan het lessen en heb er superveel plezier in.

Mijn instructeurs rijden altijd met de motor mee en ik kan op locatie altijd een leenbroek en jas, maar ook schoenen, handschoenen en helm (die laatste 3 heb ik zelf geregeld).

Nu is mij meerdere keren opgevallen dat andere rijscholen op de gedeelde oefenterrein met auto's achter de motor leerlingen aan rijden, prima denk ik. Al vind ik dat best bijzonder, maar wat ik echt vreemd vind, is dat van de andere school (best een grote in de regio) de leerlingen met spijkerbroek en sneakers met lage enkels aan het lessen zijn.

Ik word al aangesproken als mijn leenbroek iets te kort is ivm veiligheid.

I am wondering how HCB made his beautiful fast pictures. I believe he uses a Leica without metering.

How did he set his aperture, shutterspeed so fast? Or did he preset his camera?

I seem to lose my moment often, because I take too much time setting the exposure right and then focus, aaaaanddd.... Moment is gone....

I am originally from Poland. Als a small child I moved with my mother to The Netherlands after she divorced from my father.

A while ago I got a hold of a box with old family photos from my father's side. I know a little about him or this side of the family.

Some of the very old pictures have something written on them, others are of some organised stuff.

Is this the right sub to post some of those pictures and ask for help on deciphering them? Or are there other subs?

I'm looking for a digital full frame camera to use my beautiful vintage lenses on. I have primarily Pentax K mount lenses, Pentacon six/Kiev-60/ARAX, and some rangefinder screwmount lenses.

Is the ii good enough, or should I prowl for the iii? Please advice.

My brother just fixed for me an iptv account (I don't know if that's the right word ..)

Now, I have a relatively new Samsung Smart tv and a couple of iptv apps. Now I have a free one. I don't seem to be able to make my own channel package. I run now the iptv smarters pro.

Are there other, better apps on the Samsung and are the ones I have to pay for or is there another way to get the most out of this?
