Not letting the general audience see those trailers definitely feels like a "VIP-only" system that rewards those with the deepest pockets. The cost of attending major conventions like San Diego Comicon or Cinemacon has become a massive barrier for average fans, with tickets, hotels, and travel often totaling thousands of dollars.

The way they reach their audience is through the trailers. By only showing them at conventions to create "buzz" they fail to reach a wider audience immediately. Wouldn't showing them to anyone who wants to see them create even more "buzz"?
