The day I took the decision to lose weight I wrote a letter to myself when I felt like giving up. It expressed everything that I hate about being overweight and everything I hoped for.

Every time I hit a milestone either planned or unplanned I write another. I include in it all of the little things I’ve noticed that have improved, all of the things I still want and everything else I hope to achieve.

I’m finding this really helpful. Does anyone else do this?

I’m waiting for surgery right now so I’m not allowed food, only prescribed nutrition so I know my Calories In is 600 a day. My TDEE is 2,193. My weight loss had been steady until I started to take codeine for the pain. I’ve managed to gain 3lbs in the week I’ve been on it.

Any ideas? I’m not constipated, I’m drinking plenty of water and it isn’t approaching shark week. Is this just a codeine thing?

Due to pretty serious ill health, weight is melting off me right now (looking at 70lbs loss in 3 months). This is gonna continue for a few more months at least and I can’t afford lots of new bras.

I started at a 40H but am shrinking through them quite rapidly. I have an office job which means I can’t get away with bralettes or sports bras for Work.

Is there anything I could go for that would last me a few sizes on my shrinkage?

(PS I am seeing medics. They know what’s wrong. Im having treatment but it won’t start to improve until a month+ post surgery and surgery isn’t for at least another month)

Night Watch is probably my favourite book in the series. Yesterday I was reading Edge of Eternity by Ken Follett and some of the characters were referring to injuries that they had sustained during the Cable Street riots so I had a little investigoogle.

Cable Street, London was the site of the 1936 riot between the British Union of Fascists and various anti fascist groups. The anti-fascists erected barricades to stop the fascists from parading through the mostly Jewish area.

I've been wondering a lot recently about the demographic make up of the sub. Not asking for many details. Just sex, decade and country.

I'm female, 30s, UK

My "leakproof" water bottle leaked water all over my journal. It is totally saturated with ink smeared all through it.

I'm having to start again. Any ideas for things I can include that I didn't last time?

I have a lot of weight loss, fitness and medical stuff in there.

I'm also looking for a good study planner idea. I'm doing a distance learning masters where I have nothing to hand in. I get the material and an exam date so planning is key and I have no idea how to do it!

I've started this post and ended it a few times because I don't know how to start it so; here goes nothing. Apologies if I ramble.

When I was about 9 or 10 I went through puberty. I shot up to 5'4", had a perfect size 10 (UK so US 6) figure and C cup boobs. At age 10. This was when the bullying started. I was a clear foot taller than any of the other kids in my class so I would literally be stood in a hole in staging blocks for choir concerts. I became so self conscious that I gave up swimming which I used to do 5 times a week and took to stealing food from the kitchen and hiding in my room.

I have no idea what weight I should be aiming for as different sites are giving me a range that c

After S7E4 I had a theory that just couldn't work but wouldn't leave my tiny little brain. This theory was that the dagger given to Arya by Bran (by Littlefinger etc) was the same dagger that was used to create the first Wight Walker.

Hang on a second though. The dagger is Valyrian steel while the CotF dagger was obsidian. It can't be the same one. Please now all don your Valyrian foil helmets and go with my thinking.

Valyrian steel has not been created in many, many years. It can be re-worked by a handful of Smiths but not created. Perhaps this is because they are starting from the wrong raw material. Perhaps Valyrian steel is originally created from Obsidian rather than iron.

Yesterday, my husband booked us a romantic get away for our wedding anniversary. My husband has gone above and beyond anything he could be expected to look after me this year so I decided to book him an extra night as a thank you.

The front desk linked the two reservations so we don't have to move room and also fixed he slight error that husband had made (booked a dinner, bed and breakfast rate for one adult...with note that it was a wedding anniversary celebration) and didn't charge us any extra. I also have Coeliac Disease so they will send me the allergen info the week before once the menu is decided.

These little bits of help make the world of difference. Thank you so much guys, from
