To start, I want DESPERATELY to belong to a fighting game community, but all I have to offer atm is shitposting. I'm nearly at 1000 and not there yet. Idk if this is part off the process, or just me being trash at the game. Like, if I'm going to belong I want to contribute of course, but if I don't get that kind of credential who would take me seriously? It's been 3 years, and I feel like I'm consistently the weakest player in any discord or kof server I join. I don't know what to do, and I'm really struggling with this.
I'm 36 years old, and it feels like I never belong anywhere. No matter where I go -- work, hobbies, volunteer orgs -- I just don't fit in. And I'm also super passed that I consider that to be an important aspect. I enjoy the activities/ job/ volunteer opportunities themselves, but I still feel like it's a matter of... Just not belonging.
Why can't I fucking trust anyone? Why am I so socially stupid? How are all these friendships blossoming and blooming around me while I'm just... there. Why am I such a fucking waste of space?
It feels like any time I get close to being a part of a community I catch word of folks making me out to be a punchline. I just want to start over. I just want a new
Hello, all. I wanted to ask about how often you take "fan wisdom" into consideration, or if it has proven useful in your career. Here's my situation.
I've been training since January, so this is month 9 for me. My gimmick is a posicore punk who loves his friends and hates this town. I wrestled a match lately and it felt like my gimmick connected about 50/50 with the crowd -- one 9 year old girl hated my constant banter, and other members of the crowd seemed a bit confused about the aims of my character. This was a pretty urban crowd, but likely won't be my last match with the promotion. I am worried about my inability to connect with the crowd.
After the show, a fan mentioned my colors see
Any idea of if Weeby will do a watch and react to the Tribe Nine anime and/or a let's play of the upcoming Tribe Nine steam/mobile game? The beta just got announced for Steam and I feel like it would be cool to get some of the Danganronpa creators from back in the day to cover it. Would love to see their thoughts and insights!
Where do I even start? My selling is bad. My body language is bad. My strikes... are a whole 'nother level of trash. There's a botch about a minute in that almost ruins the match. The ref looks embarrassed to be there. I don't even know where to START with where to improve. I'm embarrassed to goover this with my coach, and I don't know where to go from here. How do you rebound after a DREADFUL first outing?
Here's the scenario: we've been together for 8 years, moved in together, bought a house, have a dog, joint savings account. All of that. Likely not getting married (differential opinions about the state sanctioning marriage to the norm). My entire life I've been a self-hating asshole, and it's really starting to cause serious issues in my partner's and my ability to communicate. I see a therapist weekly, take medication, and in general try to manage my health. I just keep screwing up so damn much that I feel super unworthy of any affection.
At this point, I just have no idea why she wants to stay so invested in me and in spite of my attempts to improve my life, I feel like I'm only making h
Hello all. I recently started my pro wrestling journey, and learned the collar and elbow tie (pro wrestling style) yesterday. I come from an amateur background and was told by my instructors yesterday that my tie up is too stiff. I know mentally I'm supposed to visualize a loose tie, but something about the tie up speed in the lock has me still coming in too stiff.
Has anyone else had this issue with adapting their tie up from amateur style to pro wrestling style? If so, how did you correct your tie up style (outside of getting in the reps)?
It seems like every day I find something to do to make my partner mad. And they're honestly fuck ups to get mad about. I don't blame them at all -- I'm just not good enough. Every time we get some time together just one on one they realize something new I've screwed up. I don't know how to break this cycle. "Just stop fucking up." Yeah, of course. I never set out to fuck up, I just AM a fuck up. And in spite of all my attempts to stop being a fuck up, I feel like this is going to be the inevitable thing that leads to us breaking up. There's no pattern to the mistakes -- it's just something that I do. And I'm starting to really think it's best I stop fucking up the world for everyone.
Greetings. I'm returning from a small hiatus from this game. Looking to reroll a new account in the near future, and was wondering if it is worth it to spend my diamonds rolling for a maxed out SANADA card. It looks like it can really change the momentum of a fight, especially for wrestlers with more throw-oriented movesets, which can be useful for a few of the normal-pool fighters (at least the normal pool when I stopped playing), but does it stack up well in the current meta?
To be clear, I love Abadon. They've got a unique look, a unique set, and they bring some good energy to and match they're in. What I don't understand is why they're so protected.
Abadon is a midcard wrestler rn. They're in a current program with Julia Hart, it seems, but has one of the best win/loss ratios in the entirety of AEW. In the past, there hasn't been a huge payoff to Abadon's wins, and Abadon also has some of the lowest stats in Fight Forever.
I'm just getting mixed messages about Abadon's standing with the company and it's not imminently clear what the plan is with them. Is AEW planning to feature them more in future programs? Will there be any long-term plans for them? Is ther
