As I understand it, after home study/applications/waiting period, a child lives with their new family for about 6 months until they’re official adopted.

But after that, im assuming social workers don’t just dissapear do they? Are you regularly checked up upon? For how long?

Hello, I’m writing a story which involves a character working part time at an ice cream shop.

If any of you have experience working at an ice cream place, can you please tell me? What were your daily duties? Your favorite part of the job? Your least favorite? How long were your shifts and how was your relationship with other employees?

I realize I write super slow, I guess cause im a perfectionist. I wrote one and a half pages and it took me about an hour and a half. Im guessing it should take shorter?

I edit as a write, cause I have very specific ideas in mind and want to convey it well. But I feel like this sort of speed will weigh me down. I’m not pursuing a career in writing or anything, it’s just a hobby, but I do have projects in this hobby. What do I do?

This is so stupid.

This afternoon he wasn’t looking great. I texted him if he was ok and he said no, and that he just wanted to be left alone for a while.

It’s now nighttime and I miss him. It’s been like 7 hours 😭 not even a day, but I miss him so much. I want to talk with him. I want to cuddle with him. He asked if I’d come over earlier, and I said no cause I was so tired from the week and wanted to take a nap. But now that I did, I wish I hadn’t and would’ve gone to his place.

I miss him :(
