2010 Kia Soul+. Replaced rear brakes/rotors, noticed that the caliper bolt was very short (like 1/3 of the motion length), and there seemed to be a pin down inside there that might have been sealed in, couldn't see. Is there a proper way to lubricate these? Do they need it? I'm used to pins that can be completely removed and greased.

Has anyone tried using erythritol in let's say a baby back rib rub to replace the sugar? I'm talking a 3-4 hour cook at 250F or less, just asking before I potentially screw up two racks of ribs. I can probably work out the BBQ sauce.
Anybody got any clues how to duplicate any of these products at home? It's like $8/loaf/bag of bagels/bag of buns and you have to get them shipped frozen. 1g net carbs in pretty much any their products. I know it's a vital wheat gluten base, but I haven't seen anything about making it at home. Huge amounts of fiber too.
They are pretty passable if you haven't tried them, but I'd really rather do it myself.
Hi, my wife has been on keto with me.
She takes a fist full of vitamins everyday and wonders about hidden carbs in them and if so any thoughts on how to find out about the carbs in the vitamins she is taking.
Thanks!
I see a number of recipes, particularly short ribs, that cook up to 72 hours at rather low temperatures (as low as 129F). I know even at this temperature it kills all common food bacteria such as salmonella, listeria and a few others.
Are there any risks such as from botulism or anything else that might grow in a water bath for 72 hours (or is there a time limit at all)? Does vacuum sealing vs the ziploc method make a difference? I can't find any online resources about upper time limits. Thanks in advance.
I'm running into the issue where I drag a certain gem (and see it being dragged) to an equipped item, it prompts me, then it sockets a different gem. It's rather frustrating and happens a fair bit. I do have a lot of gems and items stashed though, I'm a MF + Blacksmith build.
Also sort often breaks the game (quits counting). And sometimes the stashed item list quits being a scrollable div and just extends down the page.
It seems to be related to dragging objects in the stash area, that will freeze the browser (Chrome), and seems to screw up drag/drop.
Ok, I just tried a new recipe of chicken and dumplings, and I was modifying it a little as I went. I sauteed the veggies in schmaltz, added flour, cooked the roux a bit, added cream and concentrated homemade stock, then the rest as usual.
Anyway, it's a little overwhelming on the schmaltz side, a bit too fat rich. I can't imagine what would make sense to cut it with. Lemon seems excessive, but I don't know. I know an acid is usually the trick, but which one? The consistency is quite good otherwise. Any ideas?
If you're making a torrent box, don't use deluge. It's a pig. It's way slow and resource heavy. I was disconnecting constantly if it was doing anything and it was eating all the CPU. Transmission is way nicer. I can't speak for rtorrent, although I've heard good things. Just no deluge, even though there's a big article on installing it.
Since the 3 keys games have been popping up, here's the whole series and more.

You may be asked to pay postage due. Postman needed an extra 85 cents from me today (they did put 1.10 on it, guess it's pricy to send). It does look nice though. So if you get a postage due message, that's probably what it is.
A physicist, biologist and a chemist were going to the ocean for the first time.
The physicist saw the violent ocean and was fascinated by the waves. He said he wanted to do some research on the fluid dynamics of the waves and walked out into the waves. He was pulled under and never returned.
The biologist said he wanted to do research on the flora and fauna inside the ocean and walked out to the ocean. He too, never returned.
The chemist waited for a long time and afterwards, wrote in his journal, "Physicist and Biologist both soluble."
I've had a stray cat hanging out around my house, I wanted to adopt it but I took it to the vet and she has FIV (cat HIV), so I can't let her in the house with my other cat.
She's spayed, about 2, 8 pounds, seems quite healthy otherwise according to the vet, and I just gave her a round of her shots. Long shot I know, but if you don't have any other cats, or FIV infected cats and want to take one in, let me know. I don't really know what to do with her, I shouldn't leave her in the wild to spread this.
