Hi all - I started on Estrogel and Prometrium last year for peri, and while it hasn’t been perfect, it’s been miles better than life before HRT.

However, my doctor recently changed me over to Zoely as my iron levels were consistently just hovering above the red zone thanks to my periods getting much heavier in the last 6-8 months or so (clots and flooding).

The hope is that if Zoely is ok, I can skip the sugar pills and just not have a bleed at all. Or at the veru least that my periods will lighten up.

Hi all, I was diagnosed in adulthood a couple of years ago and although the original goal was to start on 5mg dex twice a a day and build up to taking I think 20mg altogether, I’ve never made it past 10mg and quite often only take 5mg.

I resist taking more because it makes me quite jittery, and often affects my sleep. I know that I’m supposed to push past this until it levels out and it can’t feel it so much, but I never get there because I’m thrown off by the side effects and have a (probably irrational) fear of developing an addiction. There was one brief moment where I did manage to get up to 15mg but now I’m back to 5-10mg.

Hi all, 47yo on hrt (estrogel and nightly prometrium) and wondering what forms of contraception I should be considering, as condoms are just not something I want to be fiddling around with at this stage of my life.

I am married and have been in the same relationship for 18 years and I really need to sort this out!
