Does anyone have any ideas for how we can build out this sub?

But we have another legacy of this FUCKing system:

Because that was what most women considered "unlawful carnal knowledge" to be.

I don't know who needs to hear this but if you are here, you have a sexual addiction problem. And the current nature of your addiction problem does not make you better than anyone else.

Using straight porn does not make you better than using gay porn.

Looking at porn does not make you better than someone who sends nudes. Or even someone who cheats in real life.

Using relatively vanilla porn does not make you better than someone with unusual kinks.

Recovery is not a straight line. Your addiction may take some unexpected turns before it gets better so before you criticize someone else or think "Oh, I would never..." realize that may be you some day. Be charitable.

Hopefully I am not alone in experiencing a great sadness and disgust when I notice the growing popularity of subreddits that exist to encourage judgmental thinking.

Even more saddening is when I see this mentality and language spilling over into other subs and even day-to-day conversation.

Rendering a verdict of "YTA" or "NTA" is binary Jackal-speak, IMHO.

And what is disheartening is to know that most people don't even know about NVC. They don't know what "Jackal-speak" is or get why this is disconnecting.

My wife lobbied hard for this for a long time and I finally relented.

I'm about three weeks out from the scheduled surgery and I am feeling totally DONE with the idea of letting her have sex with me ever again once this is over.
