Until spring, here a a few pics of some of my blooms last season I'm most proud of!
reddit.com/gallery/108tzv2So I have been shooting USPSA off and on for a while, but recently shooting Falling steel due to the availability in my area.
Shooting iron sights, what I have recently been questioning is how are people "seeing" targets between shots? Obviously in a large spread like a lot of USPSA setups I would be looking down range, and drawing a bead to the next target, but in a situation like a plate rack, in my mind i want to stay with more or less front sight focus, and find the next target through the sights, but have not been successful. What i have noticed in my dryfire, and supported by a lot of misses on the range is that my non-dominant eye is tricking me on the transitions. In these situatio
So I have a Kz440 twin that I plan to swap out the stock carbs for a pair of Mikuni VM's. Throttle is handled easily enough with a 2-1 cable, and of course there will be a good deal of tuning required, but how are people dealing with two separate chokes?
It looks as though you can get a plunger kit and modify to a similar 2-1 cable system, but honestly that just to me feels like I'm starting an old tractor. I love the lever and linkage system that all the old carb racks have, and I'm wondering if someone has a clever solution or can point me to a "universal" linkage that can be fitted?
I have an upcoming trip to Mexico, south of Cancun, where we will be staying on the beach, and I would like to be able to casually throw a line out while the lady and I relax in the sun. Does anyone have some good info on the regulations for this? I've found that a license is not required when fishing from shore, but they're cheap so I'll probably get one anyway. I also found the daily bag limits and everything seems clear enough.
The big question I have is the rule I came across stating that "you must not fish within 250 meters of swimming beaches" is this regulation in regards to fishing from a boat, or would this apply to surf fishing as well?

I have a question regarding the proper lubricants to rebuild a Rockshox Monarch RT3. I have found and read through the service manual from Sram, and need to verify some things.
In the required materials it lists 4 lubricants
- Rockshox 7 wt suspension fluid
- Suspension specific grease
- Parker O-lube
- Maxima Maxum4 Extra 15w 50
1: It is clear what the 7wt fluid is for, but I was unable to order the Rockshox brand oil (out of stock) so I will try to source it locally BUT can any quality suspension fluid be used in its place, ie. 7wt motorcycle fork oil?
2: Suspension specific grease VS O-lube. In reading the tech data on the O-lube, it is presented as a lubricant for o-rings and seals.
I just picked up an older full suspension frame that has never been used. It's been sitting for probably 8 years or so. Since I'm new to the full suspension world, is there anything I should be freshening up before I build it up and ride? Air Shock? Pivot bushings/ bearings? It's a 2012 with a Rockshock Monark RT3
