Hello all. I've got an issue with being unable to update my subscription to a higher tier so I contacted support on Sunday. I got an initial response Tuesday and responded later that day that their suggestion did not work. I have not gotten a response since then. Is this a typical response time? Should I contact Latitude somewhere else?

Hello all. I'm a very data-oriented person, who also is neurodivergent, so I just got an itsy, bitsy, teeny, weeny, obsessed with optimizing my farm income. I created a Google Sheet comparing all the crops, foraged items, and animal products for their rate of production (per season for plants and per year for animals) at a base level, as well as how much artisan crafting increases the sell price. I wanted to share it with you all and also get comments if something is wrong or unclear. I've set the link up so you can leave comments on the sheet. I'll, of course, turn that ability off if necessary or if I just get too many comments.

Today is the big pride parade and festival locally and I'm just sitting home sad. This is the first year I haven't gone (and walked in the parade) in over a decade. The last two years I walked with the ERG at my job but this year they got rid of all ERGs because we're federal contractors. It happened months ago but it's hitting me harder today. I thought maybe I'd just go and watch the parade but I just don't feel up to celebrating Pride with the way things are going in the US.

Any advice? How are you dealing with feelings like this during Pride Month?

As the title says, who are you going to romance? Or are you unable to make a decision yet like me? Is it the same companion you planned on romancing?

PS. As the title also says, please no spoilers! I haven't even recruited all of the companions yet lol. But I'm just so curious about who people are choosing!

Anyone else hear of an odd sickness going around? It has some head cold symptoms but also a lot of gastrointestinal symptoms. It lasts for 3 to 5 days on average.

I've had it, two of my siblings had it too (I got it from one of them), a manager in my org is out with it, four people in another unit were out with it, a managers son also had it.

It's not Covid, strep, or the flu. One of my siblings went to the doctors who couldn't figure it out and just gave them antibiotics.

Someone I talked to brought up enterovirus which does seem to fit symptom wise. But it's usually not this widespread or involves other symptoms.

Hello everyone!

My two friends and I are looking for a DM and maybe a couple other players for an online D&D 5e campaign. We are looking for queer positive and open minded people. Here's a bit about ourselves.

Myself: Just started playing 5e this summer. It's my first TTRPG. In a monthly campaign but looking for a second one that is more often.

Friends: Both haven't played since 2e. Looking to get back into it. They are older players so that must be acceptable. (Not that I'm a spring chicken but I'm in my early 30s and they're older.)

All of us are in Eastern NA and work so weekend afternoons are best.

Contact me if you're interested!

PS. I have every sourcebook on D&D

For those who don't know what PTO donation policies are, it's when employees donate their unused Paid/Personal Time Off to a coworker who has an emergent need to take time off but has used all of their time. It's usually used for instances which would fall under a policy such as FMLA but not qualify for disability such as needing to take care of a sick or dying family member.

These donation policies infuriate me because why should I be punished for my companies lack of adequate PTO time? I get three weeks a year. Why should I have to give any of that up?

My view is that every company should give extra PTO on an as needed basis decided by HR. And giving more PTO would be good too but

So I've been at my job for 7 months and have been out a fair amount. I can pretty much trace every instance to anxiety from outside sources. My job is great but with the pandemic and now the insurrection I'm struggling. I'm out (fourth day in 4 weeks) today and my boss said we are now going to work with HR and the medical clinic to make sure I'm not out as much.

I'm not sure what's going to happen or what to say. And I'm now even more anxious because of this. I haven't even used all of my MTO and I don't like being out so much. But every day I've called out I felt like I had to. Today I'm so fatigued it wouldn't have been safe to drive and I'm pretty sure it's from anxiety.

I love the Valdemar series by Mercedes Lackey and I'm looking for similar series. I prefer female protagonists, unique worlds, and medieval settings. Queer protagonists would be a plus; as would large saga like series set in the same universe.

As the title says no "spice" aka xxx content please.

Thanks in advance!

There's an odd dichotomy in most countries where children are viewed as adults in some ways but not others. This is extremely prevalent when it comes ro crimes committed by children. People say that somehow children are old enough to "know better" when it comes to crime but still treat them as ignorant children when it comes to sex. This is pure hypocrisy. Either children are adults and therefore can make their own decisions for everything or they cannot.
