Scenes or content that are edgy, dark, gory or hopeless and want to get a "Omg yikes!" reaction from you and they successfully do that but you still don't like those because you keep asking yourself "Did they have to go this far?".

My go to example for this is the hospital scene from Alien vs Predator Requiem. Like Alien is a franchise with lots of nasty scenes but imo all of them fit well with the hopeless nihilism of the movies. That gnarly squid abortion scene from Prometheus? Cool. >!That girl's baby turning into Orphan of Kos!< in Alien Romulus? Awesome!.

None of those bother me at all and I like how gross and dark they are but that one scene of Predalien putting eggs through a pregn

So it has been one month since the new season of the popular show "USA" dropped. And I have the very cold take that Donald Trump is a badly written villain. Yes, this has been said to death but I need to explain this again for my next points.

A good villain should be intimidating and smart but still fun and entertaining to watch. Donald Trump is none of these. He is not smart, the show actively wants to demonstrate how stupid he is and when it doesn't, it still does a terrible job portraying his "Business man" intellect. Like the US president somehow can't write a letter to Norwegian prime minister without having glaring grammatical errors? And people voted for this guy? The writers are in

You know how a movie franchise or TV show used to be popular and overall well recieved then that one movie or season releases and it's so bad that fans and audiences not only lose hope for the future of the franchise but start hating the previous entries in retrospect.

Like before Season 8, I would still hear how GoT was the best show ever after that fans started dunking on seasons 5 to 7 too. Suddenly people started to realize the writing became bad way before season 8 but it took them this long to see that for some reason.

Disney star wars had it's best run with TFA and Rogue One back to back then TLJ released. Not only Solo bombed and no one was exited for TroS but fans started to dis

These days around every 6 months, you see a new article about "The new episode of this popular show broke Breaking Bad's record" and its about how that episode got a 10/10 on IMDB which only the Ozymandias episode of BrBa could. Then a few days passes and that score drops to 9.9 or 9.8. The problem is most of these episodes weren't even good enough to be higher than 9, let alone come close to Ozymandias. Like these inflated scores make you think these episodes are absolute peak fiction and the best humanity can offer to you.

I liked the Herogasm episode from the boys but was it really 9.6 good? If it wasn't for that fight scene, most people wouldn't rate it that differently from other episo
