My mom was recently put on medication where she absolutely cannot drink any alcohol. As such, she is missing her cocktails. I ordered some canned things off Amazon but what are some things I can do to make a well-stocked bar for her where I can make fancy things? I see a lot of 0 proof liquors on the market but I'm not sure which, if any, are good. I'm looking through a lot of the posts here and trying to learn but would really value some opinions on what you think are the best things to buy (since some of these actually are more expensive than actual alcohol). Hi. Late forties woman going through perimenopause at the moment. Recently, I've had a few coworkers get surgical hysterectomies through a known doctor in the area who will do it if you ask for it. I've been told by my regular OB-GYN to not do that because I have other issues that could make things complicated (not going into detail here for personal medical reasons). Is this really not a big deal now? Like you just walk into a gynecologist's office and say, "take it all out" because that seems weird and insurance scammy. I guess I'm just posting this as validation because it really sucked having to do this. But the name-calling and the constant insistence on sending me ridiculous social media bs just got to be too much. I hit my breaking point the other day when he tried to gaslight me into thinking I did something wrong to him because I kind of politely (too politely) told him off in a text message. So, after 40 years, I blocked him from everything. I honestly do not care if I ever speak to him again. My mom and I started this diet together. And for one of her Christmas presents, I want to make her a low point snack basket. Do you guys have any snacks that are low point and are your go-to snacks? I still have some time to order from Amazon and I can easily get to a grocery store. We have some of our staples but they really are just Finn Crisps with laughing cow cheese, popcorn in the air popper and anything that Fiber One makes along with copious amounts of celery and carrot sticks. Trying to figure out the best way to go about troubleshooting. I did not install the doorbell. I hired a locksmith to do it but they told me to contact Customer Support. I did and they were genuinely helpful. I was able to reconnect the doorbell with some step by step help from them. This was one week ago. Today I looked at my phone and noticed that the connection was lost yet again. The doorbell worked fine for about 6 months but now there seems to be a connectivity issue. So, this is my second machine and the same thing happened to my first machine. After a few months of use, I go to make an espresso and the machine starts to run and empties the entire tank causing me to go nuts looking for spare mugs or a pitcher to contain the water so it doesn't go all over the place. When I fill the tank again to run it in any mode, it does nothing. No matter what I do, it does nothing. I've looked all over the place and I can't seem to find an answer.
