I've been binging this show for the past few weeks after never having watched it. It's great.
Jay was my fave character. It's not THAT they wrote him off, it's HOW.
To make him look like a scumbag husband who just abandoned his wife? Bad writing, and this comes from a professional writer.
I'm looking to design a website that is a blog and a way to sell my books (I'm a journalist). I also want to do affiliate sales in my niche. Will also start a newsletter in Beehiiv or Substack at some point, but need a site to point it to.
I have extensive experience with WP and manage multiple sites, but I've never built a site in it. Did some research and seems wp.org and Wix are my best bets. Inclined to go with WP bc of the versatility and my familiarity with it.
I want to get a strong site foundation by building it offline (to reduce overhead), and then go live when I have a good starting point. I'm reading LocalWP is a good way to do this, so I installed it.

My Indeed resume outlines the past 10 years of my professional experience. My journalism work weaves in and out, so I have the publications I've worked with the most frequently on it.
I have them listed individually, which makes it rather long. There is overlap in duties between them, but some have unique items I do for maybe only one other.
I've considered combining them all into one and listing the publications in a single bullet, but the issue with that are the start/end dates.
How do you all handle this?
I got downsized from my primary job about 2 months ago and have been doing the whole dance of trying to find a new one.
Heard back from a company about a copywriting gig. I researched the company and they are legit but they asked me to perform an unpaid test assignment as part of my second round.
I need to review it further to see if it's an actual fit for me, but what are your thoughts on these types of situations?
Unpaid work was always a hard no for me but times is tough...
Just watched this one. It's a fun popcorn movie but not what I was hoping for.
First act is pretty solid then it kind of flatlines. But the acting in effects were good the pacing was just a little off for me.
Randomly found this on Tubi and it was one of the best fF I've ever seen
Highly recommend if you like a cult, possession type movies
This came up on my suggested feed and this was one of the coolest FF I've seen.
It's occult meets possession meets demon hunters. Really well crafted!
I have been looking to start a Substack, but they're experiencing a lot of churn due to increasing fees.
Have any of you moved on to other platforms? Medium is a consideration for me, as well as something called...Ghost...I believe.
Would love some input as I'm looking to get it up and running soon.
Cheers!
