Shoes of Darkness

:Disscussion: Discussion

Is there a reason shoes of darkness with good rolls are going for 40-50g right now? I grabbed a couple pairs that were ridiculous just in case they get more expensive later in wipe.

Was that a bad investment?

Bard Skill Idea

:Disscussion: Discussion

I thought it would be nice to post something that wasnt "why is high roller hard".

Had an idea for innate skill and/or perk for Bard -- If you pull your lute out before sitting at a campfire, you should play the main lobby song on repeat and your friends heal / recover abilities x% faster.

Extra points if there is more than one bard and they can pull an instrument to accompany you!

When pushing for a wound, deaths during an attacking rampage are basically expected as a melee.

These deaths in the vast majority of cases are totally viable plays that do not give momentum or advantage to the enemy team (the exception being full team wipes right at the end of rampage, which can result in a summon kill).

I think deaths that gave energy to the enemy team should be parsed out from all other deaths, since, in my experience, they determine the who wins a game.

Thoughts?

My vote is Oru. Insane value if built correctly, im sitting at like a 90% wr in clash with him.

Curious how people feel about the meta right now.

PSLF vs Private Refinance?

Student Loan Management

Hello all,

I am an MS4 and am digging into my financial situation after matching IM in an expensive city (avg 1 br apt ~$2500/m).

Some additional details:

  • married, filed jointly last year, wife makes ~60k year, I will have PGY1 income of 80k/year.
  • 304k loans from medical school (having trouble finding out how high above average this is for a PGY1).
  • bought a house for medical school, will be selling and potentially walking out with around ~100k post-seller expenses (woo).
  • I plan on pursuing fellowship in heme-onc after residency.

My question: Should I pursue PSLF, or privately consolidate + refinance and blast out my loans as an attending?

The math seems questionable at

Hi everybody,

I am a new player with OW2 and have been OTPing sym this season.

This game was a very close loss and I felt like I had a decent game, so i thought it could be a great one to have reviewed.

Things I have been working on include target priority and changing playstyles once the enemy team begins to expect whatever I started with (i.e. If i am getting good success but begin to get countered with turret bombing and backline portals, transitioning to poking / turret trapping, or brawling).

Thanks in advance!

Currently working through my first playthrough and am totally blown away.

I want to explore death mountain, but i havent been able to find a place to buy or earn flame-proof armor.

Could anybody point me in a very general direction? I know i can make a bunch of flame-resist elixirs, but im not sure if im missing something.

Thanks!

Hello friends,

I have been grinding out solo comp (4700 and chuggin, baby), and I had a question.

I know that if you leave a match you lose points as if it was a loss. Do you also lose your winstreak? I have been seeing a lot of people ditch out of matches right before losing in round seven and was curious if there was a reason.

Thanks in advance

r/composting•

Hi everyone,

I have a tumbler composter I have been using for about two years to supplement my garden.

I grew beer hops this season and brewed with them this last weekend, and after some research threw the spent grain into my composter.

My whole setup now smells like somebody ate everything sugary at a carnival and puked it on my lawn.

Any suggestions or experience with composting spent grains?

I just pumped a bunch of dead leaves in there to help dry it out and hopefully stabilize the pile, but it is suuuper gnarly.

EDIT: Thanks for all the replies and suggestions. I didn't have woodchips on hand so I snapped a bunch of branches down to about 2 inches and packed the tumbler with
