I regularly see the same flawed argument on here. The argument is that * Because you can rank up with 45% win rate means anyone can climb to GM+" *

Sorry. No.

If you took a division 3 team and put them in the Champions League would you expect them to win 45% of matches? Nope. Youd expect them to lose every single one.

All the 45% thing does is make it slightly quicker to rank up and possibly youll rank to a degree that is a tiny tiny bit higher than your actual rank, like maybe one division.

Is the RivalsMeta website official? I have a question / feedback about it.

I was checking who is above me as a Jeff player. When I click into the too Jeffs, half of them only picked Jeff like 10% of the timr and played meta all other games. IMO they shouldnt be listed under Jeff players.

I was amazed that I made it into GM as a solo Jeff. But then it occurred to me what I did right that so many others do wrong. And that is: Doing all the less glamorous jobs that no one else wants to do.

Examples:

Other support wants to get a high KD rather than healing everyone. Fine. Ill balance it out by healbotting (because balance between supports is everything).

No one wants to destroy ankhs / loki clones / peni nests cause it doesnt show anything on the scoreboard? Fine. Ill do it.

If Im dps and the rest of the team is not protecting our supports? Fine. Ill play babysitter.

These kinda things make a huge difference to your team, but no one wants to do them cause theyre more inter

For fun I ranked up to high elo just playing my Jeffrey. Jeez what a mistake. Every single game the enemy goes Sue n Clock and I get flamed for picking Jeff. Its not fun for a landshark in high elo. Everyone forgets that the point is to have fun.

Also, if you made it to like Diamond / GM or w/e with a character who is not top tier and actually takes skill to rank up with, then I salute you!

Okay so I hit plat 1 with Jeff, 1 week in so far, but guys I do have some Jeffrey questions please:

Everyone keeps talking about flanking jeff. Do I have to be super agro with him?

One GM Jeff said they only ever use ult offensively. Is this generally agreed? Sometimes I wanna use it to save my team like vs a Strange ult

How the hell do I position on the first 2 points of Royal Palace? (The ones where youre inside the palace)

What specifically does that Luna team-up do?

I love you my fellow Jeffreys. Lets keep the landsharks alive, one fight at a time! 👊

Many times now therell be a Strange on my team. At the beginning of the match he'll say hes doing a portal. He starts doing the animation and Im standing there waiting. Clock is getting closer to zero. The Strange then randomly cancels the portal so we end up at spawn at the beginning of the match instead of on the point (on defense I mean so we are miles away from the point). Why?

Reading through all the posts oj here, Im wondering, am I the only one who thinks that OW2 is amazing except for the matchmaker, and that the main issue there was all thr smurfs and cheats?

Everyones talking about how to fix the game and whether 6v6 is better than 5 or better than max 3 min 1 and Im like, "The only problem I ever had was the matchmaker".
