any BSB seniors can let me know when do Duke NUS conduct their independent interviews for applications that have indicated interest in the conditional pathway. i know you have to first be accepted into BSB then Duke will conduct another interview, under EASE i’ve already gotten a spot in BSB but i have not yet been called up for the conditional pathway interview.

Thanks a lot in advance !

Im from a poly sci course, dont think i would want to stay in lab research/ academia in the future, debating staying in science or potentially leaving for something like business/acc/finance but if i do stay with sci id want to go into the pharma/biotech/medtech space.

was wondering if any seniors from SBS have any insights on which degree is more relevant and sought after to get into pharma, rn it seems like Biomed and Biobusiness/ Biological Sciences with a Second Major in Medicinal Chemistry and Pharmacology.

would love to hear your thoughts about these two programmes as well as the other programmes in SBS

thanks!!!

Any seniors from BSB here? wondering what the jobs prospects are like, im considering between med/ life science but not really interested in slaving in a lab for peanuts, would you say BSB is better than a bsc in biological science/ life science?

early applications for uni

University

anyone clear about how the early applications work, if they do offer you a spot under the exercise what is the window to decide whether or not to accept or reject the offer, and if you do accept during NS are u able to then reject and reapply for another course in the same uni/ different course in another uni?

thanks for the help

SAF/ SAF Merit Scholarship

Scholarships :snoo_feelsgoodman:

worth?

recently went to a saf reception and got me thinking about applying, full salary during ns and undergrad is quite a significant bag + bonuses if you get the SAF scholarship, with the exception of psc idt any other scholarship provides this much monetary benefits.

need some advice though throughout poly ive pretty much aimed at only med and idk if it’ll be worth it to give up med for saf,

nus/ntu med apps

University

i’m thinking of not applying straight after i graduate from poly and instead wait a year and apply in ns instead, have heard that for nus if you apply and get invited for an interview but fail the interview, you wont be able to apply again, can someone double confirm this.

i’m fairly confident i will get an interview but im just not sure if im ready for it and so i rather another year to prepare if it really is the case that you only get one shot at an interview.
