PVP in this game right now is hell. It's just rangeball vs rangeball and the fact that a mage/range player can just put 500 into a stat without thinking and be 75% as tanky as a medium player is absurd. Add on top of that that you can cover 90% of melee weapons with one gem (moonstone) is downright dumb.

This isn't even taking into account that the same patch they added secondary scaling to all weapons, they made secondary scaling completely pointless. It shows a lack of understanding about their own game.

My mother's boyfriend of 15+ years has dementia and it's progressed to a point where he can no longer do much for himself at all. Neighbors have said they've seen him outside trying to get into people's cars. His PoA is his daughter that lives about an hour and a half away and she's been "Fixing up" the basement for him to move in with her for 6 months now, or at least saying she is.

Currently you can get 700GS items (even if rare) from Crafting, PVP Track, OPR, Arena, Dungeons, War, Invasions, Open World Kills, and upgrading named items.

After the update, the way to get 725 will be a PVP flagged chest run, 1 Raid, and 1 box a week from OPR/3v3 (combined). PVP Tracks, OPR and Arena crates, dungeons, War, Invasions, Named Items, and Open world kills (outside new zone) have all become irrelevant.

Am I right here? This means there's actually LESS content in the game after the update. Do they just assume everyone will do fresh start and hope that they add relevant content in 3-6 months? I don't mind working for gear but there's about 3 hours of weekly content to do until y

I have a question about the different streaming boxes. Is the voice command performance varying among different boxes or is it solely software based? I only wonder because I bought my Dad an Onn 4K pro so he can use the voice commands with YouTube TV to change channels as he’s somewhat visually impaired. It worked great for a couple of days but now only a few channels even work with the voice commands at all. They mostly just say “not available” and bring up something different outside the app. Could this work again if I used a different box instead or is this just the nature of the ecosystem?

So I already have a home base that is unlocked but I'd like to sign up with US Mobile instead (And bring over 4 lines) but it appears the Home phone plan is only offered if you purchase the base from US Mobile?

Am I able to use the light data plan for home phone instead?

Starting January 14th 2024, All full-time telework employees will required to come into the office at least once per month. The email suggests this is the first step to remain competitive blah blah blah. It’s more like the last step of the destruction of state jobs. My entire group is already made up of contractors now and a return to work will have me leaving too. I already get paid less than I’m worth, full-time telework is the only thing that kept me on.

I'm currently losing my mind trying to find a VPN solution that works for me and my network. I bought a TP-Link ER707-M2 router maybe a bit too prematurely and it seems the VPN settings were not up to my hopes and wishes. I got Wireguard set-up after manually updating the router but there's absolutely zero configuration or policies that can be set. TP-Link states (after searching for quite some time) that those are coming "Q1 next year or sooner or later" which is not really confidence inspiring. Running the VPN for my full network would come into issues with other users and things not working that I don't want to deal with.
