I’m working on a full rewrite of my WIP since I wrote myself into a bit of a corner in version 1, and I was wondering if anyone here has done the same ^^
I’ll be doing a proper relaunch as well since I didn’t have any launch strategy at all with my first story, but I’m not too fussed about going for an RS Main run or anything like that lol. Just putting out a better product is good enough for me!
The idea behind an elevator pitch is pretty self-explanatory; you’re meant to give a summary of your work that’s short enough to explain during an elevator ride, haha. Practically, it usually means summarizing your story in only a sentence or two.
So! What’s your story’s elevator pitch?
What small wins are you celebrating as writers lately? :D New comments, completed arcs, good reviews, scenes you’re really proud of, etc. Whatever comes to mind!
I recently logged in to see my highest-ever number of notifications (18!) thanks to someone commenting on every chapter they read!
(Just the first chapter, mind; that’s all I can really commit to lol)
If anyone is interested, I’d really like to support some newer authors by reading their first chapters and commenting what I think! I’ll consider any story that’s posted, but I’d like to prioritize folks that are just starting out and don’t have that many followers/reviews/etc yet. I’m also open to leaving that comment as a review if you want it for ratings reasons, but I’ll say up-front that while I’m fair and I do my best to be as supportive as possible, I won’t rate a story five stars unless it really wows me.
Also, I’ll read LitRPG but I don’t have a toooon of experience with it so you may want to take any of my adv
I would expect most stories to gradually trend down with occasional spikes for more popular chapters, but it'd be nice to have a ballpark for what "average" reader retention looks like (especially if you don't have premium lol)!
I’m not sure if this is the sort of thing anyone especially cares about lol, but it might be interesting to puzzle out?
