Hi, I have recently bought a used workstation PC from a company that went out of business. In general all is working fine, but there is one thing that bothers me: all the front USB-A ports are blocked. They are plugged with some sort of lock that you put in and need a tool to unlock and pull it out again. Like all the old car radios had back in the day.

Example to google: a Lindy USB Port blocker kit

Well ...long story short: how do I get these plugs out of my USB ports? Any advice without breaking them?

I have just lost a battle in silver league. I was rank 5 before and sadly lost the star (because some idiots just suicided because they didn't like what they saw on their matchmaking monitor app).
Now I am back at rank 6 with one star. I expected that I was just losing the star but not the rank. What is going on? Or is this one irrevocable only in bronze? UI is not a big help here...

I have a Bambino Plus and I'm using a Timemore Black Mirror Basic2 Plus with it. Long story short: I have probably bought the wrong one. This one is too big to fit properly on the drip tray. Well...height-wise it's OK, but because not all of the rubber feet fit on the tray, the whole thing wobbles and makes precise measurements hard to impossible.

I assume that a lot of people have the same issue with scales that have a slightly bigger footprint. Not everyone will have something like a Black Mirror Mini (which I should have bought). So...What do you do to stop the wobbling and make it sit more stable?

ich habe hier ein Problem mit einer Dose vom Typ "Axing BSD 963-14N"
Die hatte ich mir als Ersatz für eine 17dB-Dose geholt (bei einer Reparatur wurde die 17er eingebaut; wurde vom Elektriker angeblich falsch geliefert, weil er an dem Tag nur die kriegen konnte). Mein Ziel war es, das Signal zu verbessern, weil ich mit der 17er teilweise Bildstörungen auf dem TV hatte.

Wie auch immer: ich habe die Axing-Dose gerade eingebaut und bekomme so gar kein Signal. Mehrfach Einbau gecheckt. Ebenso die alte Dose zur Kontrolle nochmal angebaut. Die tut.

Ich habe also einen berechtigten Verdacht, dass die Axing BSD 963-14N defekt angekommen ist und "keinen Durchgang" hat.

ich hab hier ein Problem im Haus, das ich nicht direkt verstehe. Da wird (hoffentlich) morgen der Elektriker kommen und sich das genauer ansehen, aber mich interessiert halt, wie sowas passiert.

Im Grunde ist es so: die Wohnung hat auf einzelnen Stromkreisen keinen Strom. Heißt: kein Licht, kein Saft auf den Steckdosen. In der Küche funktionieren außerdem nicht alle Herdplatten. Für mich kurios: alle Sicherungen und FIs sind "drin". Aber die beiden FI Schutzschalter lassen sich über ihre Testfunktion nicht auslösen.

Bei den Herdplatten würde ich mal vermuten, dass da eine Phase nicht läuft. Aber ansonsten bin ich etwas ratlos. Ich tippe auf mindestens einen kaputten Fehlerstrom-Sc

looks like Postman launched a new version that crippled the free tier users even more. They already limited the number of collections I could run per day.

I have a specific batch workflow. Up until now I could just run a collection with a local CSV file. The daily limit was OK(ish) most of the time. But now they do not allow running collections from local data files anymore. You have to pay for that feature.

But I don't use this feature enough. Maybe 2-3x a month. This just does not justify an annual 108€ plan.

Long story short: do you know an alternative that still allows me to run CSV-based batches for free? Ideally Open Source and no forced cloud shit.

ich habe beim Verdunkeln gestern ein ungewöhnliches Geräusch gehört und beim Nachsehen bemerkt, dass mein einer Rollladen nicht mehr ganz runterfährt ("auf Luft"). Da auf ersten Blick nichts zu sehen war habe ich mal ganz genau hingeschaut und dabei bemerkt, dass bei dem Fenster die sog. Einlauftrichter am oberen Ende der Jalousieführung schlicht fehlen. Keine Ahnung, wie lange schon oder ob die jemals verbaut waren. Ist ja auch egal. Das könnte bereits die Ursache sein. Leider ist die Wartungsöffnung für den Rollladenkasten bei mir übertapeziert, und ich habe im Moment auch echt keinen Nerv für noch eine Großbaustelle.

I just unlocked the Pilus Prior and noticed something odd with the default camo. And by that I mean the real one and not the "Ad victoriam" Roman one.

The issue is that I can click on it and it will show the ship with it, but it will switch back automatically so that I'm not able to use it in battle. It is also slightly greyed out which probably means that I don't own it. But there is also no opportunity to buy it.

Is this intentional/normal?

OK, now it's my turn to ask which one of these ships to get. I could afford to get both of them, but on the other hand I want to keep some of the steel to get one of the other steel ships with the 50% coupon which I still have. Here's my thoughts:

ich habe gerade festgestellt, dass die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung an meinem Audi TT (8N) nicht mehr leuchtet. Ich benutze dafür seit bestimmt schon 15 Jahren LED Birnen (36mm Soffitten).
Den TÜV hat das im Gegensatz zu den Standlichtbirnen bislang nie gestört. Daher lassen wir dieses Thema mal bitte außen vor. Mich selbst hat aber immer schon gestört, dass die so übertrieben hell geleuchtet haben.

Jetzt suche ich Ersatz LEDs für die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung, die nicht ganz so hell sind. Ich hätte gerne die Optik und Helligkeit von heutigen Neuwagen. Bei denen ist das auch nicht so hell.

Hat da jemand mal ne Produkt-Empfehlung für mich?

Ich habe gerade noch einen ganz alten Kartenführerschein von '99. Nun ist es ja so, dass diese alten Führerscheine alle nach und nach gegen neue EU-Karten ausgetauscht werden müssen. Ich bin also jetzt dran.

Mein alter Schein hat u.a. die Klassen CE (OK, abgelaufen 2004) und C1E.
Auf dem Antrag für die Umstellung kann ich angeben, ob ich auf CE verzichten will oder nicht.
Ich habe in meinem Leben nie einen LKW gefahren, also kann ich damit leben. Aber was ist mit der C1E? Zählt die als Unterklasse davon und fällt auch weg? Oder krieg ich die ohne weiteres übernommen?
