I'm excited to finally announce that over the past year, I've had the honor of being part of a player council for E-Day! There's so much I'd love to share, but unfortunately, we're quite limited on what we can say at this point.

Common Questions:

Who was in the Player Council? A handful (10-20) people from various parts of the community.

How did I get in to the council? There was no sign-up or anything. From what I can tell, it was invite-only and I have no other information about how they chose who was involved.

What did we play? Our time with the game was purely MP (both Siege & PvP) focused.

When did we play? First in Vancouver (Jan 2026), then in other occasional p

TL/DR:

MP skins are subjective, people have different opinions. MY opinion is that lore-based skins are king and flashy colors should mostly be avoided.

Colors & Effects

(Most important to least important)

Team Colors should be more strictly enforced. Using the updated Death's Rendezvous Marcus as an example - it is a very dark skin with orange/red highlights (flames); this could easily be mistaken as a locust in the heat of battle. Other colors like "gold" seem fine if muted enough are still easily recognizable between teams.

Emissive Effects should be kept to a minimum, particularly glowing emissives. Particles aren't too bad, but items like fire or glow should be to

TL/DR: I played Siege...what do you wanna know?

As many of you know, I was lucky enough to play in the MP Preview. I answered a lot of questions yesterday (and will continue to do so). An EXTREMELY common question (or series of questions) was around how Horde works vs Siege and how squads work. So, I sat down last night and made this:
PvE Explained: Horde vs Siege

(yes, sorry for self-promotion)

How Siege Works

To keep things simple:

  • Set loadout & class options in lobby
  • Search for match of Blitz, Siege, or Horde
  • Matchmaking will fill out your squad of 4
  • Load into map

I just got a new smart TV (S90C) and linked my account through the YT app.

Unfortunately, I have 4 YT channels linked, so they all show up on the TV (1 main, 1 old, 2 creator). I just want my main account to show up on the TV - that's how it is for my my other TVs.

If I go to the profile section screen on my TV, I see all 4 profiles. Only 1 of them has the "remove profile" option available (this being my main profile). If I remove that profile, it removes all 4.

Is there a way for me to link only my 1 profile to the TV without bringing in the additional profiles?

I just picked up a 65" S90C. I haven't messed with it too much, and just set it up this morning.

An issue I've noticed is that the included remote (tiny solar remote) has a VERY limited range. Like, I probably need to be within ~9-10" of the TV in order for it to be picked up.

Some things I've tested:

  • I plugged it in until until the light turned off, so the remote is fully charged
  • I've ensured that I'm pointing it right at the receiver
  • I've removed the plastic over the receiver on the TV
  • There doesn't appear to be plastic over the end of the remote
  • I took my old 55MU630D remote and tried that
    • This remote works from much larger ranges, including in the next room over

I'm looking at doing some kitchen renovations. Part of this involves either removing a portion of a wall (if not structural) or reducing part of a wall to a column (if structural).

I've been building some 3D models to visualize things and understand what is there currently. Now that I understand the situation a bit more, I'm thinking about having a structural engineer come out to confirm if this wall is/isn't load bearing.

Here's some images of what I'm dealing with:

I also added some notes under the images in the slide-show.

Just a few notes that stuck with me when looking at things:

  • Seems like not load bearing:

I've been on a few cruises with RCL over the years, and either book with a TA or book myself, and then transfer under a TA. I'm the type of person who likes to do a lot of the planning, so I'm not really utilizing the TA to "find the right fit" or anything.

Anyway, when I've talked to the TA, I occasionally hear some booking options that I don't see online. There's obviously group rates and stuff like that, but I'm talking about categories...or really "sub-categories".

For example, we just booked on an Oasis class ship and some prices that were given by the TA were for "GTY Neighborhood Balcony" or "GTY Ocean View Balcony". When booking online or looking at prices, I see "GTY Balcony" opti

I was playing CoOp on Apocalypse with NY team all being ~PL11. Once we reached Venom, we went up to PL12, so WL13.

After beating him, we went into the Blackened Citadel. Naturally, it was WL14 (min possible). We fought him and died (intentionally), then used the Crystal to go back to the ward.

At the ward, we leveled up to ~PL16-17. We went back to Annihilation, and he was now ~WL17 (don't remember exact value). I thought it was supposed to be locked at WL14 for us?

Later, solo at PL16, I went in and had WL14. So clearly it seemed to lock in the 14. My friend joined. (PL19), and it bumped us up to WL17 (14+3). He left, and it went back to WL14.

So, why would it have locked things in sol

I read the patch notes, and I didn't see anything about this...but maybe I'm missing something.

I'm a medic (primary) for my squad. I run Crystal Heart, healing traits, and summoner minions with rugged traits.

I've gotten very used to using my relic to heal my allies (and my summons) - partially because one of them doesn't pay attention to their own health. It's very nice to use my relic, heal myself, heal my summons, and heal my teammates all at once.

I've noticed that since the update, my heart doesn't appear to be healing allies (summons or teammates). Is this intentional; am I missing something? It really sucks not being able to heal them - and also not assisting my Regenerator prime

TL/DR at bottom

A while back (maybe 6-8 months ago), I created an alarm for my Echo Dot to play music. It was something along the lines of "Alexa, set an alarm for 7am playing music". I then went into the app and changed it to be recurring for weekdays.

I was all set, each morning at 7am I'd wake up to music and let it play for ~30-40 minutes until we left the room. The music each morning would change, but I've run into a few issues.

.

The Small Issue:

Each morning, it would seem to play something similar to if I had said, "Alexa, play songs by ______" and then it plays stuff "by _____ and similar artists". It doesn't say that's what it's doing, but that's what it so
