My husband and I about to sign papers. He has been very controlling through this whole thing. I don’t understand how this all came about. Was he seeing someone else? Does he still love me or is he mean because he truly hates me. Will we find each other again? Is this relationship even worth it? Does he have a personality disorder?

I thank for doing me a favor. You ended it. I fought for us. For our family and all you did was stand there and said you did to but you didn’t. You wanted me to fail to give you reason to leave. Why did you pretend to be the man you weren’t. You lied on so many levels. Your children have no idea who you really are. The truth will come out. It always does. It is killing me inside how much your children love you. I did everything for you and our children and I lost myself for what, to be treated like I don’t matter like I’m vapor.i have never hated anyone but I hate you. I will never let myself be in this position. I never trusted you and it was for good reason. Everything we ever fought abou

Feel insignificant

Vent/Rant/FML

My STBXH are in the process of divorce. He has made me feel like I don’t matter. That I haven’t spend 20+ years with him. We are not talking even though we have three children, two of them are adults. We go through the younger one when we want to make plans pertaining to the young teen aged child. The younger one tells me how happy his dad is and how much he’s changed and it has only been 2 months since he asked for a divorce and I moved out. I feel my ex is a narcissist and doesn’t have the capacity to love any thing. I feel he never loved me at all. I feel I have wasted my life with this person and I don’t know how to feel better about it. I invested love, time and energy on a person I tho

Starting

Going Through the Process

My husband of 20+ years wants a divorce. I feel that we can try to work it out. I want to go to couples therapy but he refuses. I have been working on myself and have really made significant changes for the better. I have trust issues that run deep. I have been trying to work on them but it’s hard when you don’t have support. I don’t understand why I want to stay in the marriage as I feel he never truly appreciated all that I have done for him and the family. Sometimes I feel like an idiot for still wanting to be with him. I found out that most of the people we surrounded ourselves with didn’t even like him. I know deep down he is a good person. Has anyone ever changed the mind of their spou

My husband and I are having problems at the moment. We've been having them for the last 3 months. I think he is texting someone online. He hides his iPad when I or one of the kids comes near him. I've asked him several times if he's talking to someone and he keeps saying no. I want to trust him but I don't know. I'm not an idiot. I know what it looks like when you texting someone. Any advice?

Been married for 20+ years. I've come to realize that I am a suffocating and controlling partner. I didn't realize I was doing it. I am in therapy and trying to better myself but my husband, and how I feel, is punishing me because of it. His words are harsh. The way he treats me are not what a husband should be treating a wife. I am contemplating divorce. I don't want to because I think we could go to therapy and try to overcome this but I'm starting to think he doesn't want to work on us. He told me he is not ready for therapy and he wants to focus on bettering himself. He told me to be patient and I can be but being treated like I'm insufficient is not what I called being patient. Anyone e
